    I have a 2017 ford edge titanium AWD fully loaded, love it, very good presentation, however not mentioned (which I have on mine) is if the battery in your phob goes dead you can still start the vehicle by placeing the phob in the bottom of centre concel , thus you are never stranded.

    I just purchased a 2019 Edge Titanium !!!! So very sweet... love it.
    I do have a question with the turn knob shifter. Does it shift if turned while moving down the road. What if accidently someone were to turn it to reverse while driving down the road?

    • @RealityandCommonSense
      @RealityandCommonSense 3 года назад +1

      There is a video on youtube were the man tests the knob shifter on a Ford Fusion. Its was a little nerve racking watching him. He was doing about 40 mphs and turned it to reverse. The only thing that happened was the backup camera displayed but the car kept driving as normal. So if someone accidently turned it has a safety feature built in. I wish I could show you his video. but Im sure if you search it, you'll come across it.

    I have some questions about the 2019 Ford Edge AWD.
    1, is its reliability good, average, or worse?
    2, It says that 28 MPG on the highway and 21 MPG on the city. Is these stats based on premium gas or the regular?
    Hope to get the answer soon!
    Thanks !

      I am a dealer, I would be biased, I think Edmunds or Motor Trend would have an unbiased facts. For Fuel Economy here is a link to how the EPA is figured. www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/how_tested.shtml

      I’m told those figures are based on high octane gas

      @cap2574 We are very aware of the production of the Edge. Ford is no longer producing the Edge. 2024 model year production finished a couple of months ago. You will see 2024s at dealers until they are all sold. The Oakville plant isn't producing vehicles at this time. In 2026, they should start producing Super Duty.

    Lane keeping system? love it??? you gotta be kidding....shitty lane keep assist keeps loosing lanes and veering from side to side on my 2019 edge titanium rental. I went 3000 miles in it, and it doesn't really help much at all, disconnects on steep turns, etc etc. I also hated the absence of manual climate mode select - just a few individual buttons for window /rear/front defrost. 'titanium' huh..where is brake hold assist? where is cooled seats or heated steering wheel as standard in almost all Kias now? Small details, but annoying - and hence I can't take this stupid car seriously. oh yeah, emergency braking aint working - or probably works but very close to an object. Once it gets to that close distance and stops adruptly, I'd probably die scared from my own heart attack. Ford, let's start learning from europeans and develop a smoother system.

    • @chhnov12
      @chhnov12 4 года назад +1

      I'm confused by this post. I have a 2019 Titanium. With adaptive cruise control on it is like the car is on rails. I hardly have to have my hand on the wheel and the car centers and steers highway corners by itself. The climate control has "auto" if you wish or manual with control for either side. Brake hold assist is automatic. My seats are cooled and heated, and the steering wheel is heated over its full surface, and heats very fast. Emergency braking seems excellent, but I only tested it once (while being very ready to brake myself if I felt it wasn't working). So all these items that Igor was missing are on my car, same year, same trim - I'm confused...
