Im kind of liking the ml here in the drama than in the novel, i hope it will continue to do so. In the novel i wished Mei Lin stayed far away from Murong Jinghe and he lives in remorse and regret after gaining his throne, a life with power and authority but without his beloved/loved one. I didn't like how he treated Ah Mei😔. Just a rant here😅❤
I agree, he's all kinds of creepy, made my skin crawl. In the novel, I wished for Mei Lin to get her death among the flowers rather than end up with Jinghe. There's no saying how he will treat her when they get old and grey. He wasnt even respectful when she was in a coma *** rant over ***😅😂😅

I think this still has the chance to happened since they introduced that fake death pill but never really use it. And based on this trailer too.. there is still hope! 😢
Pretended or she was in corner because of the poison in her which was why she tried to assassinate Liu Mei so that he would forget her in the novel but he will later get to know she was in coma by tracing Ying que

I am strongly feeling it is going to be a sad ending. Why whenever they turn novels into dramas, they change the endings.

I really think this series will have a sad ending even though the novel does not. The song is sad. I think the scene where both of them are lying on the bed in red wedding dress, he is holding a dagger whilst Mei Lin already seems dead. I hope I am wrong. Still going to watch it. Fantastic drama

Everyone is saying sad ending but i wish sad ending for her lol. In novel he really treated her badly and always compared her to luo mei , calling her names etc. I just want her happy and be with someone who treated her right and have the warmth of family which she lost it .
Even though at the end they got married and he decided only she should be his wife and he is not gonna take any concubine . However it is not enough , throughout the whole novel he had mistreated her .
The way I'm seeing it the ML is not that crude in the drama like the novel, since it's drama they won't want to follow the too crude side of the drama so that the ML won't receive a lot hatred from fans

However whatever the scenario would be in future all I wish is for the success of this drama .
