Love to see how the bikes evolved. 75 the shocks were more vertical in the back and my 125s the exhaust was on the right side. The elsinore was always the bike feared were I road back then.
Give me that over new any day. Love the old bikes. Refurbishing two Suzuki 86’ sp125’s. They have sat a few years after I tore them down. These videos give me the fire to finish them. My father in law gave me his 71 Honda 350 scrambler. Another project I gotta do. They are in the climate controlled basement of my house and wife wants them gone😂
@@jpconard Yeah i was thinking that 1980 must have been the first year of the plastic fuel tank for the 250 model. I'm not sure if the 125 model got it in 1980, might have been 1981 instead.
@angrytater2456 😭😭😭😭only in my dreams can I buy that. Actually I could buy it , but I'm retired and my money is in silver and I don't have anywhere to ride. Now if I was young again growing up on the dairy farm, I would have loved it. But it would look great in the living room.
Looks great. No stickers all over it,very nice.
If i lived in America i would have at least a dozen bikes from kaplan in my shed

Something about the dual-shock bikes were so cool. Loved the Husky's back in the day.
Somebody loved that bike kept out of the sun and perfectly maintained
Wow! Outstanding!
Omg. Where in the world do you keep getting these gems?!
I remember riding thd cr80 back in the late 70"s....what a bunch o fun that was!! I can only imagine the 250!! lol...
One Nice Looking Red Rocket in great shape.
Cool reference of a RM 100. Cool niche class of bike. I guess there is a KX 112 which is a crazy little bike.
Back in the day, that was my dream bike
Had an Elsinore 125, 1981. First of the liquid 125's. Very peppy machine. My friend Eric had one of these, These were deadly fast...
These old 2 strokes will be awesome FOREVER 😊
KAPLAN scores again, what a beautiful bike 💯👍💪🇺🇸
Absolutely a masterpiece 250 man. Kaplan the Best 💪🏻
Unleash the Beast ☝️💯🔥
The closest thing to time travel, wonderful to see.
Amazing the amount of change these bikes went thru from 80-3

That bike, but with a 80 engine in it would probably be fun AF🤔
Mty first bike was a 1981 CR250R Left hand everything
What a beauty 🎉
When did Honda come out with the mono shock? 1981?
thiers just something different about the air cooled ring a ding ding sound and the abrupt power vs water cooled
It's a distinct ringy sound.
So perfect...❤

Beautiful 😍

Sweet!!

@@KaplanCycles Seems pretty tricked out! Like a bike you could buy and put right on the track.

If you have an Rd 125 please show it.
I bad mutha-trucker 🎉
Seriously Get That Skin Covered, Not a Good Example Bro ♥
I thought they all had a steel fuel tank, i had the 1980 80cc version and it was steel.
80cc version did. I had one too. But the 80cc were always behind the bigger bikes slightly.

Leave it original, all the way!
The stickers on the tank aren't original...pretty sure the Honda Logo was level, those are on a tilt...
Good catch
I mentioned that in the video
SOLD , SOLD , SOLD 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
