Hello, thank you so much for the video! I am taking chem HL in a month and deff panicking rn... but this really helped! Hope to see more content soon imma subbing rn :)
Great video. I have been wanting to go to TU Delft for aerospace engineering for a while now but my Math Hl grades aren't looking good. Btw do you know Swastik Swain?
@@elwoyt1827 then id take it if i were you except i wouldnt do the hl.....Im currently starting dp2 in a few weeks so i dont know it all but from what i know......if you dont need a subject for your future....dont take it unless you want to keep your options wide.....however, that brings extra work....you could do it as an sl for aerospace cuz its not really required........i also wanted to do aerospace but changed my mind to computer science......i take math physics chem geo all HL .....english A lit and Dutch since im in NL like Max Haste.....but since i dont really need the chemistry im changing it to sl.....whatever you can do to have less stress such as making some subjects Sl and some subjects not taking at all, you should do it....makes work easier in the long run
Hey there! I would definitely recommend doing Chem SL (or even HL) if you want to do any kind of stem related field. On one hand, only a little chemistry pops up during some courses but you did not need to know it in advance (it just helps a little). But on the other hand, I believe that doing an extra science develops or teaches a new and different way of thinking which can be advantageous in a stem (or really any) university degree. That's just my opinion , so take it with a grain of salt. :)
Hey Hania! We definitely did more than half of the syllabus in DP1 as by the time mocks came around in January we pretty much finished the syllabus. So we maybe did around 60/70 % in dp1.
Yeah you have write a so called internal assessment (IA). There are lots of resources online, but here are some of my tips: get your data collected as soon as possible, make sure to analyse it properly and lastly don't lose points on things such as formatting - make sure you are consistent, label your graphs and tables and just make sure it looks neat.

Hi Max, do you think you could share a copy of your google spreadsheet?
Do you recommend doing Chemistry SL in IB if I want to study Aeroespacial Engineering?
the requirements on delft university do not ask for chemistry ..only math and physcis hl
@@kofiampo4085 yeah but I have the possibility to do cinema (that is more easy and requieres less work) or chemistry
