It largely relies on the enemy not predicting that you're about to leap over their head, so you'd probably have to figure out how to trick them into dropping their guard...And then nailing the fool in the back with the strongest weapon you have when the opportunity strikes! Ideally, something which hits like a bus but has a small clip would work perfectly. Extra funny points if you somehow do this with...I dunno, a sniper rifle weapon? Also, a mean buff would be letting the Lancer turn while in the air, granting it the ability to cleanly leap around corners for ambushes - something unique which the other Scouts simply don't have. As far as I can tell, it'd be fair enough - slightly weaker weapons for the ability to 'Trickstab' enemies and get behind cover really quickly would help the Lancer be extra unpredictable!

In my hangar, I leave that job to my Guardian, Ares, or Killshot. Both Guardian and Ares are durable enough to survive a brawl with a Panther who just brought Longarms, Thermal Lances, or Stasis Beams, and one System Crash shuts a Panther totally down. Killshot...well, it's kinda hard to shoot back when you're dead, and my Killshot is most definitely my hardest hitting mech. Two Missile Rack 8 + that Dash=one dead or super hurt mech.
Lancers are best scout mechs. But unfortunately the game developers never thought of giving it its ability. I never saw a bot using its jump jet ability. That's a shame!
Don't underestimate lancers. Even tho my lancer only uses a pair of thermal lance 2s, it's pretty op. The enemy can't hit me because im so fast and i can juke them. I also hit them from high ground, on high and hidden spots. It went to the top 3s plenty of times and it's marked my most used mech too.

It actually has 85400 hp at max, the same as a paragon. Guardian, Tengo, and redeemer all have 99700 hp at max. i personally think that redeemer and tengo have too much hp
The trick with this mecah is basically being the embodiment of "Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee" You have to constantly keep moving and keep firing, I mean the last bit, this mech works really well with weapons of fast reload time or the Thermal Lance wich reloads atomatically when is not firing (As long as you don't deplet the mag) However If you use weapons with long reload times then you have to time your attacks and inmediatly pull back when you reload. You don't need to always kill your enemies in the first encounter, just wittle them down bit by bit with constant fire. A few tips. 1-Wacth out for situations where you might be outnumber by the oponent. ALWAYS AVOID BEING SWARMED BY THE ENEMY AND BE CAREFULL IN OPEN AREAS WITH NO COVER 2-Try to outmanuver your oponents and flank them from behind 3-Remember that you can use your jump in the middle of a fight to dodge enemy fire and to move tridimensionally, use the terrain and jump up and down platforms
Has anyone jumped away to avoid javalin rockets. It's always great to show it off in front of the person who shot it.make sure to jump back right before the rockets hit the ground. Or you shot in the air.

Do you think Lancer makes a good ambusher for a scout? I do. Jump somewhere high, sneak up on someone, and attack from above. If the opponent is weak, you could jump down and attack. Then, jump up high and reload.

Anyways I was fighting a juggernaut I was low but I use a jump ability to confuse the enemy and I keep doing that until the Juggernaut is dead I'm going to say that the lancer is good pretty decent pretty good
Hiding behind an obstruction on a roof with a wall arching around damage dealer is the most fun strategy, because it's so funny to imagine how annoying it must be to die like this. Sangrala is one of my favorite maps, expect to die allot and not being able to do anything about it you can still win by spreading out and capturing objectives, but enjoy capturing the middle point, or staying when I can jump up the other buildings too. don'tt forget the cargo vesle map. That is so much fun. I'm on the wing, can't hit me or shoot at me unless you have missiles. honestly, they did a good job mentioning the strategies without teaching anyone anything or getting more players to do this, because it would kill the game if everyone used this mech like i do. Like or dislike if you hate me killing you like this. Pro tip, use this like a troll mech and you will become very hard to kill. No don't, I don't want to fight a version of me. Sky sniper is good to. Where you jump up a roof where no one can kill you and snipe people. It's funny, don't this, it's annoying. It also make doing this a nemesis match where you spend the whole match killing one player, or getting killed.

Lancer is the sneak peek small guardian. But I don't use it lol but in future I will use instead of zephyr.
Zephyr is better
I use 4 mechs in common, kill shot, Panther, guardian, zephyr, and any tank.
@@SPIKYBEAST006 you are thinking to use same common mechs like me I have only 4 hangar slots after getting enough Xperia for zephyr I will use killshot panther guardian and zephyr
