I love cruising with my sister once a year! She was my first friend. Our hubbies fully understand we have to bond and nurture our sisterhood.

I have agree with the ziplock bags, we take one to the buffet and fill it with cookies for the room. Cut fruit for breakfast or snacks in the room are great.

I bring zip lock bags too. You never know what you may need them for. I have taken a cheese plate from the MDR and put in a bag for later lol. Never took press and seal but may now. I pack like Nancy never know when you may need something. Looking forward to my first girls cruise in June. I can’t pack that much though only taking a carry on. But between 3 of us I think we’ll have everything.
Hi Amanda! I love to bust on Nancy about her packing but she does have some really good ideas! I bring zip-loc bags too. More for sand and seashells but I wouldn’t be opposed to packing a sandwich for an excursion. Have an amazing time on your girls cruise!!! 💃🏻 🎤 🍹

Nice . I just got off this ship ( the carnival horizon) I was on it from February 5th 2022 to February 13th . 8 nights . It was AWESOME!!!

Omg Nancy... you pack last minute but you pack like me.. all those just in case items. I pack all of those things except for the duct tape. And I take ziplock bowls instead of press and seal for strawberries, leftover desserts and cheese plates because the plates don't fit in the fridge.

What were the rules getting off the ship in different ports?? On the Carnival Horizon
You just have to have a photo ID and your Sail and Sign card. Be sure to get back on board prior to final boarding which they will give you that time.

You and Bob are the sweetest. I loved how you started this vlog. Thank goodness that room had all of that storage. Where else would you put the Press 'n' Seal, sewing kit, and zip loc bags? Nancy and I are two completely different camps. I pack for the best-case scenario and she packs for the worst-case scenario. I've got the blue Dawn at my kitchen sink too (at home mind you)! What an amazing view of Miami!

Love this!! I am taking my Granddaughter (16) on her first cruise in June . Without the hubby. I am looking forward to it so much. Only a few more years and she'll be on her way to college. You girls are a hoot.
Enjoy every minute! Our boys are off to college in the fall. We are taking all 3 kids on a cruise in December as their graduation gift.

Whats all the covid rules to go on a cruise ?
They change every week. Right now you have to test up to 48 hours before the cruise. If you have all of your vaccines and your booster you can take your test up to 72 hours before the cruise. Just make sure you are looking at your cruise line website for information prior to going.
