I have them in white, they are too big so I’m ordering just the shell and liner and giving that ahi in a smaller size. The next boot sizing is a little strange. Great for some people but for example me when I upgraded to my next skates two years ago they were so tight. But literally only the next size up felt suuuper loose. I thought that was atleast better than a snug fit at the time and just skated like that for ages. But I’m getting more into long distance and jumps and am finding my feet just HURT from moving around. My toes flap around inside and my foot raises and gets all tense to compensate and.. yeah. I’m going back to the original size down and wearing them in until they stop hurting. Nice review btw!
i got me some next (3x) 100 to to back into skating. very fast and turny for sure, slowly breaking int to a rocker on hyper "stripe 100" 84A. very smooth ride, but comprarably hard to slide on.
I have the Twister Edge 80s.. was looking at the Next as well. Found a bunch of "low quality" complaints on forums...very odd... can you give some feedback vs the RB twisters
I think that the quality in the materials used to make this boot are very similar. I think the difference is the slight design differences. Check out my new video I talk about this very thing in it.
Ok. After skating these I could not imagine doing any kind of grinds in them. I have watched videos of people grinding on their wheels and after skating these I think you would have to have some advanced skill in grinding already to execute those tricks. I felt slightly awkward doing jumps so I could not imagine getting the grinds down. Probably since I do not come from an aggressive background.
you said you are a true 9 1/2 US size? and you got this boot at size 8-9? I heard that this boot is actually half size bigger than standard sizing. how does it feel now? I have my twister 3wd 2018 and it's killing me everytime I skate. :( great looking boot but unfortunately it has to go. I am looking this Next Boot but very unsure, scared of buying another hard boot. oh my Size is 8US and my twister is Size 9US and still giving me a lot of pressure point. I'm skinny too!
hhmmm I have some pressure points that I have not been able to get rid of but I actually went back to this boot even after getting a carbon fiber boot. I like the fit and it was tight at first but then the liner stretched and it was fine at the toes. The best way to know your size truly is to trace your foot and measure, wear a thin sock when tracing. Also trying them on is the ultimate way to make sure they fit.
I have the RB Twister Edge X (2018) size 9 and STILL HAVE PRESSURE POINTS!!! So frustrating!! If I skate for more than an hour i start getting blisters. I've tried various socks and even tried loosening and tightening the boot but nothing's works. I just think that RB skates run slightly narrow and small so I should've perhaps gotten the 9.5 or 10. I'm looking to get these PS Next Core or Pro 110 but I keep coming across reviews and comments from users having terrible experiences with the fit of the boot. I just want a skate where I can skate for long hours and be comfortable in them. Is that so hard to find today??
Thanks. Been looking for Wide Toe Box hard shell. From aggressive to Urban transition.

Does the individual boot come with the 3 anchor bolts/screws?

Do you think the Edge under the "NEXT" Logo is made for grinds?
I've heard it's ok for "sole" or "soul" grinds, but nothing more.
@@stonefacegall thank you for your comment. Really appreciate it. Great time with the skates! :-)

Nice video. Who did you play roller derby for?
I played roller derby from 2012 to 2016 for St Louis Gatekeepers as a jammer.
After a couple of of months of using the Next boots would you still recommend them for freestyle?
Yes they are great for freestyle!!! I like how they absorb shock and roll great.
Do axles come with the framed?
Yes they have separate axels and they have lock tight on the end where they screw into the frame so they stay put!
