My parents missed their prom having me. Instead of doing this, my mom made sure my junior and senior prom was the best nights I ever had. Especially since my senior prom was the day of my birthday. All she wanted was lots of pictures. My dad kinda acted like Michael but that was expected. If my parents did what they did, I wouldn't go. I understand Jay missed her prom, but the way she acted out was....bad. I know this is a TV show but I'm glad this is Claire first prom and not her senior prom. I also realizing that Jay had JR. at 16 but missed her prom night because she was giving birth to him. That doesn't really make sense......but this is a TV show so......

Parents could have had their own party at home while the kids were out instead of making it all about them. To go upstairs and make that girl feel guilty for being upset at them for missing her own prom experience is wack.
Ending made me cry. Seeing a mother/daughter moment like that is hard to watch.
