Japan is an amazing place to visit, but one of the worst places to live in. Just look at the 12 hours shifts 6 days a week most Japanese workers have to work. Draconian management, medieval Justice, women are treated like shit a lot (although this is changing, it's still like this) , and the list goes on.

Sorry Man, but you are an idiot justice system in russia, India, Singapore are pretty much better than American bail bond justice system. And yeah being an Indian I know that there is a lot of nationalism, casteism, hinduism and many other isms in India but when point comes to justice system it is pretty much good. You can get a bail for even serious crimes in upto 500-1000Rs( 50-60$) and there is no jury so a good lawyer cannot convince judge easily thats the reason 99.9% cases go to trial but conviction rate is still less . And it is much better than some of developed world.

Their airport security is quite loose in my opinion. It is peaceful and I have never needed to take off my shoes, for example, though in USA it is still common to do that. It is much more relaxed. I am sure there were loopholes in the system that allowed him to escape.

Sorry Man, but you are an idiot justice system in russia, India, Singapore are pretty much better than American bail bond justice system. And yeah being an Indian I know that there is a lot of nationalism, casteism, hinduism and many other isms in India but when point comes to justice system it is pretty much good. You can get a bail for even serious crimes in upto 500-1000Rs( 50-60$) and there is no jury so a good lawyer cannot convince judge easily thats the reason 99.9% cases go to trial but conviction rate is still less . And it is much better than some of developed world.

As an American, I strongly support Japan and its people as an Ally! I however, do not support their Justice system of being guilty until proven innocent! That is the opposite of our system in theory. If Mr.Ghosn were in the U.S. he would have gotten off free of charges or maybe, with a slap on the wrist and a fine. That's how it works for the rich and influential class of people! If your working class or poor here, you just sit in jail if you can't afford Bond money to get out on Bail. Guilty until proven innocent! If you get any kind of traffic citation or charge, you are guilty until proven innocent not by a jury of your peers , but by one person,the Judge! In the U.S. if a female get's mad at you, or want's to get revenge on any male, all she has to do is call the Law Enforcement and say she was assaulted by you even if you weren't there at the time and, you will be aressted! No if's, and's, or but's! The way the Law is set up you will be arrested! I have never been in trouble with the law or arrested. I questioned my wife about this very issue, and she reluctantly agreed with me after a long, long, long, disagreement and discussion! Thank you, Mr. Ghosn for saving Nissan from going out of business and making it a very competative Company in the Auto Industry! Thanks for the Nissan GTR.
