Out of all the clubs in this game, The Afterlife was the only one that gave me that true "high tech, low life" 80's cyberpunk feel. I casually pop in to just bathe in its ambience.
Right. One of my favorite places in the game. If you could select songs to play in your apartment, I'd go there too. I went to my apartment maybe 3 times total the whole game.
If I will mobilize to russian armed forces then this song will one of my playlist for war. I think, our conflict it start cyberpunk-age. PMC Wagner, PMC Mozart, tubes with gase-fuel and ammonia works in warzone, the strange diplomacy... But I doesn't see augmentations and other hi-tech. Хотя... гиперзвуковые ракеты и Посейдоны же относятся к хайтеку? Да и Майкрософт испытывает очки дополненной реальности по контракту с Пентагоном. Нас ждёт весёлое время, ребятки. even though this game didnt live up to the expectations of many, regardless of all the bugs ect this will be one of my favourite games iv ever played and the map and ambience is one of the most detailed, best looking in any game iv ever seen
the hype, delays and bugs killed it. but recently played it with ver 1.52. just needs a bit more polishing, content and extension to storyline would do It good. i feel like it was short. also add up the supposedly proposed cutscenes from the original teaser way back from pre-release days
From a certain point of view, 2020 was the End of the World, or at least our way of life has changed forever due to the Pandemic/Scamdemic. The Cyberpunk 2077 debacle was the final cherry on top. Had Cyberpunk succeeded, it would of topped Skyrim. It would of been more then just a game, it would of become a cult phenomenon.

I used to be a gamemaster on CP2020 TTRPG for years in the 90s' and back then I wouldn't imagine I could rediscover Night City like I finally could with this game. One of the best OST (and game imo, even if unperfect) ever made. As a CP2020 TTRPG fan, I couldn't help but love CDPR Cyberpunk 2077.
I remember the first time I entered the Afterlife with Jackie, and the banger of a tune fuelled by poison is on and safe to say i came a little, the exact vibe you want.
here's some bands for you guys : Icon of coil, combichrist, Oblivion Machine (go listen shield mode). not to mention classics like Nine inch nails, KMFDM, Fronline assembly. Enjoy if you're new to industrial music
If you come first time to Afterlife to meet Dex go around the club instead rushing to the bar with Jackie. You will find someone who is very important for us later in the story talking with someone whom we will later kill :).

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD SO IF YOU HAVENT DONE THE KONPEKI PLAZA HEIST KEEP SCROLLING Ok now that it’s just us, if you come back here after Jackie dies, you can actually memorialize him in a drink like Johnny and Morgan Blackhand. You can fulfill Jackie dreams of being a legend in the afterlife. And lemme tell you that hurt me on the inside
Too bad they pushed it out the door before it was fully cooked. Too bad the hate snowballed so much. I played CP this summer (18 months after release) and really enjoyed replacing my entire meatbag piece by piece until I was basically a T-800. Say what you want about hacking, but me, I've always loved big guns and pure unstoppable physical force. Gunfire troubling me? Got so much dermal plating I can just wade in. Door in my way? Not with _these_ hydraulics, it ain't. There's ten enemies in this room? This gun I'm toting is normally mounted on vehicles because it's considered too big for humans to wield, do you have _any_ idea how much stopping power it has? Good times. Oh, and it helps a lot that the visuals and soundtrack both slap.
FINAAALLLY I found the song Johnny silverhand (spoiler) plays at the end of the game when you give him your body. The ballad of buck ravers. That has been bothering about what song it was for Ages
1 real life hour equals 8 hours in-game time. And if we're talking about that 1000 NPCs have daily routines article it was false and didn't come from CDPR.

And this would be only the top layer of the Bar. The Antechamber. The Crypt and Hades don’t appear in cyberpunk.
Yoh, when I first went to Afterlife, it reminded me of the days I used to go with my friends to watch local metal bands at any given bar in the city.

It has all the loud thrill of a nightclub and yet the chill vibe of a dive bar
