It was one of the best flea markets we've been to. Great meeting you too. I was able to get that yellow swung vase with the cabbage leaves along with so many other treasures. Can't wait till next year.
My Mom & her coworkers use to make those doily baskets & bowls in the 90s. They worked at our local TeeJays (sewing plant), many talented ladies under one roof.
I had the best time at Elkhorn with you. The weather was perfect! I loved meeting all of your viewers and friends. Always the best treasures for sure!💕
Amazing Kitschmas scores 🎉 So fun seeing you both, can’t wait until next year ❤ Thank you for the yummy cookies & showing our booth with such sweet comments ❤️❤️❤️❤️
They had some great vintage Christmas items at that sale and you were lucky enough to bring many of them home. I was lucky enough today to find a bag of those Japanese lantern type light bulbs that you showed in the video at a local thrift store this morning. There were ten in the bag and it was only $2.00 for the whole bag. Those bulbs do not look very Christmassy to me so I assume that they were used for possibly outdoor decorations on a patio for instance. One or two of them could also be used as ornaments on a Christmas tree too because they do have bright colors on them. Thanks for sharing that trip to a fun outdoor antique show!
Omg. I had all the My Merry toys when I was growing up! That is amazing. There is one that had like party straws and soda stuff for a party. That was my favorite! ❤
Hi Amie, it was so fun visiting with you and Mama Pam and Cherie B at the show ! You always find the most Amazing Treasures, they are all great but I really love the girl in the sleigh candy piece. It really was beautiful weather for shopping that weekend! Hope to see you and Mama Pam there next year ! ❤
Oh what awesome stuff. I just loved so many things. The pine cone snowmen were so great. So was the Holt Howard things. All the Christmas. Gotta love it. Question? Do you ever see the Campfire Marshmallow Tins? I am on the lookout for one. Found some but they are very pricey. I am sure they all are. Right? I am sure you would know. Always enjoy shopping with you. You like the stuff i like so you look at the best stuff. All the Kitsch. Flower Power Canisters are awesome. Too many things to mention. Such fun looking at everything.. Thanks for taking us along. Take Care. I just love everything you picked up. My Merry Dolly linen closet is precious. All the vintage Christmas is so amazing.
I'm a bit meh about vintage Christmas, (the exception being non-bell angels) but the spun cotton pine cones are very nice:) I thought the costume said crisis fries so you know where my head is at, lol. Thank you for taking us along!
Enjoyed your video so much. I was impressed with your knowledge base on all the antique pieces. You are very good. I will be watching your other videos. Thank you so much for all your work.
Most midcentury ceramics have cold paint, like the Lefton sleigh piece. That means the paint was applied after the piece was fired, so there is nothing protecting it, its very prone to scratches and scuffs. You also have to be super careful not to get it wet, the paint will come right off! I will use a very soft swiffer cloth first to pick up any dust, then go over that with a soft microfiber cloth. Qtips can work too in tiny space.

I had that barbie as a kid in the early sixties. Unfortunately trading in a store for a newer barbie. That one is in great condition!

I saw those repro stockings at Walmart last year or year before 😊
You found some really great stuff Amie ❤
My dream is to have a vintage Christmas tree with all of the colourful ornaments. But no chance of finding these treasures here in Singapore 😂😂
Maybe you’ll get lucky and find some!
😻❤😻
As someone who is more recently getting into vintage finds, how do you clean a ceramic, so as not to damage the paint?
