What're your predictions of the future potential of haptic feedback? Would you want to try this technology in your projects? 🧐

Can this be "misused" by "curious" individuals. Of non friendly type?
    Thanks.

I have a nokia G11 and anytime I turn on my camera. haptic feedback turns on for a photo there should be no reason for this. No one needs to know what I'm saying when taking a picture. If it was for a recording I could understand but not for photo

I think Ultrasonic haptic feedback is going to become the most prominent. Reason being is because there is nothing the end user has to pick up or "touch" to enable the interface. It may not be the "best" but giving the end user "touch or feel" in addition to sight and sound when it comes to end user interface has been on going since Playstation introduced "dual-shock" controllers where all they did was rumble. The point is, the end user didn't have to do anything more other than play their game to make it happen. I think "ultrasonic haptic arrays" can be deployed in monitors or keyboards to give the end user that feedback and could revolutionize end user interfaces across the board.
VR will likely spearhead this tech but I can see it becoming essential in everyday industry within the next 10 years.

Thanks for your opinion! It's hard to disagree with you! This exact type of haptic feedback looks like the most ambitious and the one which will be able to develop to something big. How do you think, will this technology become widespread, as sensor screens for example?
