I think the video meant this: When the girl was little, they where a happy family, the the mother left/died and she blamed her father for that and this broke their close relationship, in the end she understood that he was suffering as much as her and slowly make a move to fill the gap between them..
I think you are right except for the end. The dad kills himself it dies too that’s why she runs to Freya after seeing the bed. Then she joins him in the afterlife.

This one hits so close to home. My parents got separated when I was about 7-8 years old. Me and my siblings were at our mother and father’s place like one week, then we went to the other person and stayed with them for a week, and we would switch like back and fourth. But a few years later, we started only visiting our dad every other weekend, and we’d stay at our mother’s house the rest of the time. And every time we got to his place, I’d give him a big hug. Well, something happened in seventh grade (I’m in tenth now), and we had to talk to child services and all that. And now we don’t see him anymore. And I really miss him. He still sends me, and my siblings, good night and good morning texts, and he asks us how our day have been. I always answer them, but my siblings never do. Every time I check to see what time it is, like if I don’t have my phone near me, I’ll just check on theirs, all I see is so many unread and unanswered messages from him. And it makes me really sad.

I had a deep voice when I was a kid. I had always insecure about my voice, because all friends has their own beautiful voices and I thought my voice didn't. I changed the way I talk, with that pick me style so that I could be like anyone else. And one day I met a girl who has a really deep voice and she's always be the leader in our flag ceremony every Monday. I changed my voice again by pretending I have a really deep voice but actually everyone around mw thought I was mad cuz the voice was like me when I get mad abt stuff. That was my thought and I regret that. I think my voice is now just sound like harsh and I can't sing. I hear her voice and to me her voice is elegant and beautiful. The daughter and father shares a strong bond but the mother and father gets separated...and father is helpless as mother takes her daughter with her but she comes to visit her father since the beginning of the video and is happy whenever she sees him and lastly gets angry that she can't stay with him bcz he cared a lot for her and singer here is a friend to her in whose arm she cries ..and lastly after she shouts she realises how much she loves her father and goes back and hugs him 🙂🙂

I’ve came upon to this song when it was just released. I loved it and the video. It made me think of my dad who is the most important person in / part of my life. 2/3 weeks later, he had a stroke and was in the icu. I was not able to see him and every time i saw a person who was able to do so (nurse or wtv), i’ve begged them to tell him that i loved him, because i did not say it enough before. Thankfully he got better and was able to get home but later we learnt that he got the cancer. We did not start any treatment yet but i hope i will be able to come back here and just say “he beat the cancer!” Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Video is about a Dad who probably does heavy drugs and sits on the couch all day, hence why the mom has to wake him up. She couldn't take his irresponsibility anymore and left with her daughter. So the daughter wants to have a relationship with her father but realizes why her mother left him when she got older and ends up in the end still wanting to have him in her life because he means the world to her no matter what.
