I'm so sad Adventure Time ended. This show has played such a big part in my childhood! I remember watching episodes weekly in third grade, playing pretend as the characters, and drawing my own comics for them. The ending was beautiful and made me so so emotional. I hope this show will be remembered for a long time. And I hope all who worked on it move on to creating even better stories.

No matter what the tears won’t stop spilling even after a year I’ll still cry out for this show
8 years ago I saw the ads for this show and thought “that looks dumb” then I watched it and remember just loving the strange but lovable characters, singing the songs and also tuning in to see it playing. Now 8 years later I cry while remembering an incredible show for what it was.

I always regretted passing up every chance to grow up with this show. It came out around the time I stopped really watching tv(school, family drama, my obsession with the internet). Dad would mention it from time to time, but I just never got around to checking it out. But then just over a year ago I started watching and I loved it. It just made me feel happy and carefree and I finally understood why everyone loved it. Then I found out it was ending.

This is the exact feeling of ending an otherwise happy relationship, not because of interpersonal problems but because of extenuating circumstances that have a habit of making life difficult.
Rebecca is a marvel. That she can make two shows amazing shows, and put lesbians in both of them, proves she is from a higher plane of existence.

I was nodding when that happened. I think that's the only other LGBTQ+ elements we have in cartoons besides Steven Universe, Loud House, etc.

Oh don't worry. It's not like that's the sound of me sobbing because I grew up with this show or anything. It's fine, it's fine. It's not like this and Voltron ending the same year, barely two months apart, is going to tear me apart. It's all good. Don't worry i'm fine. I'll just be sobbing for years whenever I remember any song from this. This show wasn't a big part in my life or anything. Not like i'd watch it every week when I came home from school or anything. It's all good. I'm fine.
I've never cried from any sort of movie or book or song except once (a dogs purpose), and this song almost got me. Dang Rebecca Sugar is so talented it's amazing. I'll miss you so much Adventure Time. 💕

the finale made me cry for the first time in as long as i can remember
I just lost my sweet Daisy today... Ever since I first heard this song, I’ve recommended it to any of my loved ones who’s lost a pet (or a human) in the past two years. I just... didn’t think it would apply to me so soon.
Daisy was 14. She was having surgery to remove a mass in her stomach. She did so well, it even surprised the vet. But as they were getting ready to close her up, her body just gave out. She decided she had fought as hard as she could. She was just tired. And that’s okay. We knew it was a risk. But we had her for the best 14 years of my life. I grew up with her. We saved her from the streets that she somehow survived on her own as a puppy. But she saved us in more ways than she could imagine. She was my everything.
I’m an only child, so it’s just my parents and I that live in our house. My parents work 9-5’s so it was always just me and Daisy at home all day together, especially since COVID. For the past year, I’ve spent almost every waking moment with her besides seeing my loved ones or going out/working. In January, I start 2 years of online school to finish my bachelors. I’m afraid of the loneliness. The house already feels empty. It’s only been less than 12 hours.
But, I’m so thankful for you Daisy. My heart is aching, but I would relive the last 14 years with you in a heartbeat. You are my sweet girl, and the best company I could have ever asked for. Thank you for brightening up our home, and choosing us as your pack. I love forever mi-mi girl.

this cartoon was my life, i loved this very cartoon from the very moment i laid eyes on this series
this is honestly one of the most bittersweet songs that exists.
It's sad because something we've all grown to love is ending, and we're saying goodbye to something that became so important to us.
but at the same time, it's happy because we're remembering all of the amazing times we had watching it, and all the laughs we've had.
it's a mourning of something passing, and a celebration of it's memory, all at the same time.
and I think it's beautifully bittersweet.
This is giving the chills but sad chills because this was such a great show-

I never watched Adventure Time. I tried watching it a couple times, but it was not really my cup of tea. But, dang, this song is really good. I can almost feel the nostalgia from the true fans that grew up with this show, even though I never experienced it myself. It's crazy what music can do to you.

This wonderful song reminds me so much of my old friends and childhood. There is one group that I think of whenever I play this song. We were best friends, had sleepovers and laughed at any dumb shit we saw. Then everything came crashing down when a really toxic girl came in, and then they, too, became toxic.
I changed schools because it became so unbearable being in this awful environment.
Growing up, I was a huge Adventure Time fan, and it makes me so sad that it's over, but I'm so glad I had the chance to experience this in my life (including my old friends)
