Yes. There’s a comic strip on it with Turkey trying to take over Italy, and we just see a silhouette of what I think was Chibitalia having shot him with an arrow. Which sent Turkey running back home

I think it's a reference to the battle of Lepanto. The Republic of Venice and the Ottoman Empire had many battles through the time. Actually Italy and the Ottoman Empire fought a war in 1912 for Lybia and Italy won

It’s a reference to a very real painting of female personifications of Germany and Italy. Himaruya probably has it hanging in his office but replaced their faces with his Germany and Italy. It brings him good luck 🍀 ✨

Ooh. That’s from Buon San Valentino. Basically, Italy gets Germany roses for Valentine’s Day, and Germany thinks it’s a confession. Then they go on a date and Germany pretty much proposes to him. 😆😆

The English version is better than the Japanese one 'cause you hear hard expressions.
For example when Germany said: I hate you and your ass face.
In the Japanese one he says just "I hate you".
Then I hear some German words e. g.: "you Scheißkerl"; "ja"; "nein" "sehr gut"; "wunderbar" usw.
Unfortunately, I don't hear that in the Japanese version.
Well, I have to say, the English version is funnier ^^
