Hi guys, our new design is here! Today our tutorial will teach you guys how to embroider the“Iron Chopsticks". Hahah, the “Iron Chopsticks" is the direct translation from Chinese, it is actually a name of Flower "Helleborus thibetanus Franch" , a branch of Helleborus. The petal of this flower shows gradation yellow and green shades, while there're also a mix of pink colour.
Today's part is about the Leaf and Stem part of this plant.
Have you ever seen this flower/Plant before?
In terms of way of stitching, today we use the random stitch in crewel embroidery, the embroidered cloth is silk embroidery, with 8丝 (which is 1/2 of a thread).
In addition, I want to send my apologies to you guys as this video shows a problem of a little bit out of focus, a bit fuzzy. It is because I just changed the camera and I ’m not very familiar with it. It may be related to the aperture problem. The aperture is too large and the shooting is too close to the embroidery.Sorry again for the shooting problem.Hope you will understand it💗.

Normally, you guys work from one side to another and fill it in gradually. Is there any reason why you are doing it all at the same time this time? IS this a different technique?

It is so that it doesn’t reflect the light in the same way.

Please excuse me, But I'm new to Chinese silk embroidery. What fabric have you used? What fabric would you recommend to a beginner? In my other embroidery I prefer to use cotton lawn.

      棉布、丝绸都可以,薄一些,不能太厚,密度高一些。

Cotton and silk are fine, better to choose thinner one , not too thick, and better to be denser.

It looks like you have to use more thread this way? Why do you leave a long thread at the bottom? Thank you for doing something different this is interesting and I'm looking forward to different videos. And you will get use to the new camera, it will take time lol

Staying a long line is a personal habit, nothing special. This is not important.
