Daryl's voice is truly one of a kind.....nobody on the planet can sing/play guitar 🎸 and keyboards like him let alone compose lyrics and music 🎶 my God the man is a genius 😎 💘
Daryl Hall jumps octaves without even blinking. He's singing opera and not getting caught. The way he flexes his voice is impossible, but he does it anyway.
Wow, great performance. Shows off both Daryl & John’s voices. Charlie on sax and GE Smith….one of my friends had the biggest crush on him back in the day. Going to tell her about this video. Thanks for sharing. 🎹🎸🎷🎤
I had no clue there was footage of them performing “Do What You Want” at this venue!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!!!! This is a really good performance of this song!!!!
Check out the live version from the Capitol Theater in 1976. Daryl is more nuanced in that performance. Less guitar pyrotechnics by the band. More blues than this rocked out version.
Hall...beatiful voice

Amen to that!!
Daryl's voice is so amazing there just aren't any words! What an astonishing vocal range, mind blowing!!
❤ Do Want You Want - Be What You Are is one of the best songs ever. 2024 . Still a masterpiece!
It's definitely one of my favorite songs of all time, and also one of the greatest songs ever created if you ask me.
An amazing song!
Daryl always has the best bands with him. He knows talent when he hears it and when they are together it's pure magic ✨ 😎 💘
So amazing! What a band... Glad I saw them but wish I could have seen them in the 70's and 80's
Wow! They were on fire! I have seen Daryl Hall and John Oates live twice and they always deliver.
Yes! Seen them together and both solo.

Charlie De Chant on sax!
Blonde hair blue eyes light skin man is singing like BB King, crazy isn't it?
Crazy cool!
👍 right !!
With all due respect to BB, Daryl sings better. But DH may be the best white soul singer ever, along with Michael McDonald
Ate and left no crumbs.
Even better vocal....Same year as amazing Toto gig at same venue......
