    Very informative as always. I've been on carnivore over a month now. Quit coffee at the start of second month and there is a noticeable difference, much more energy without coffee

      I haven't quit my coffee yet but I have to tell you what from someone who woke up to the someone who went to bed I was with a cup of coffee in my hand 24/7 LOL but since starting this carnivore diet..... now I only grabbed coffee when I'm in the mood and that could be once every 2 or 3 days and just one little cup and if it gets cold I will not drink any more of it so by then I'll probably have stuff to maybe five sips I'm a very slow coffee drinker but I do like having my coffee from time to time but I think it's more of a habit? But it is causing me to drink more water that's for sure

    Oh thank goodness you're here. I'm finding that I feel so agitated on this diet suddenly. I was ok for first 2 weeks, now I have a thumping headache and fatigue. But I can cope with them. What I find difficult to cope with is this feeling in my stomach like the one you get when you're nervous. I find that hard to cope with. Anyone relate?

      Hi lady. I'll try and answer from my experience. Today is my day 127 on carnivore. You need to keep up with electrolytes which will help with headaches and fatigue. You also need a good balance of fat with your meat for energy. The nervousness is a bit odd, you should be experiencing the opposite. Follow Dr. Ken Berry here on YT, he addresses a lot of questions ppl have on carnivore. Hope this helps some.

      Look up how much sea salt or pink Himalayan salt (Google says the pink is the best) to take daily for electrolytes! Keep up with it n you'll be fine!

    I have a question I'm on the carnivore diet going on my 5th week and this is concerning coffee. I do put a little butter in my coffee add a little bit of nutmeg and cinnamon and only a tiny and the most tiniest splash of heavy cream but I ran across a product to use in coffee called Torani and it is hazelnut it says syrup, but you look in the back and there is no carbs and no total sugars and it says includes zero added sugars so can someone tell me if this is okay to add into the coffee? Even though it does say zero carbs and zero added sugars and zero sugars it does have the thing in the front that says classic hazelnut syrup?? So that's confusing

    I'm 5 days in. Not a big drinker, so I do not miss alcohol. I do however, go to Brews Festival every June where I drink the samples in moderation. Am I setting myself up for a lot pain and discomfort?

      I would try PKD. Eliminate dairy completely and see what happens. If you must have some carbs try honey but not yogurt or any other dairy

    Number one question carnivores don’t ask: why does red meat consumption frequently associate with early death in most studies?

      @@dountoothers it's more common sense than anything. Our ancestors are mostly meat, if not only meat. If it was so bad for us, and was causing everyone to die early, our population would not have increased. Our ancestors were also running all day, built their own shelters, forged their own weapons, hunted anything from mammoths to saber tooth tigers, to buffalo, etc. Nowadays people have a panic attack if someone doesn't use "their pronouns". Our modern diet is clearly not doing us any favors. Most people are metabolically, mentally, and physically unhealthy despite having "the best healthcare to ever exist".

    • @dountoothers
      @dountoothers 6 месяцев назад

      I know that's what you think, and indeed it sounds common sensical. But unfortunately, it's kneejerk logic. You see, what adaptations led to us to be able to survive on nothing but meat, which I'll admit we can, came about to make us live long enough only to reproduce. That's how natural selection works. (The specific term is antagonistic pleiotropy.) Evolution wants you to survive to raise your kids but it just doesn't care if you're there to throw the ball around with your grandkids. That's why we consistently see the outcome data that we do: the more red meat, the more CVD, T2D, stroke and CR cancer. It's the finding of many hundreds of studies. Now, you can buy into the idea that it's all a conspiracy, but THAT'S not very common sensical. You also seem to be buying into the false choice fallacy of carnivoreism: that it's either the standard American diet or carnivore. You should know that a whole food, plant based diet has the best long term health outcomes. Anyone who tells you otherwise, I'm sorry to say, is a GD fool or a crook -- or both. I hope you figure out that not everyone is research is trying to deceive you before it's too late. Good luck. @efirefighter

      the very page from Dr. Ede's show there is no association. To demonstrate that meat causes cancer they injected rats with carcinogen. All other studies showed no correlation
