Even though it's temporary, I can't help but cherish these brief Stendan moments. I miss these two so much. I've never seen such explosive chemistry between two actors before. I think they've spoiled me for the rest of my TV-watching life.
Oh my heart absolutely broke into a million pieces. My poor Doug!! As much as I really want Stendan to work because that would just be amazing, BB is just BB. He just won't change and Ste will get hurt again. But oh my god, I was glued today. This ride is amazing!!! Thank you so much.
That moment where they zoomed in on the Photograph of Ste and Doug, and then Brendan's coffee, that meant something. It was a moment of realisation for Ste. That Brendan will never change. And that Doug's worth fighting for. Ste's came up with a plan to get Brendan out of the picture so that the deli will be his, and he's able to be happy with Doug without BB interfering. At least that's what I think. Also, Damn you PJ for making me cry. That scene was amazing & really convincing. Stug love.
My heart breaks for Doug. I thought Brendan's confession was very sincere but the look on his face afterwards made me feel it wasn't as real as it should have been. I'm so confused because everything is so messed up.

PJ has me in tears and that is a f-ing impossible feat these days. He did brilliantly today... he's an amazing actor and kudos to the director for getting those great performances from PJ, Emmett, and Kieron. I wait for each episode to appear with bated breath. Doug, my heart goes out to ya.
Whatever you Stug or Stendan fan you can't deny how amazing ,wonderful,dramatic,intense and exciting this storyline is.....i enjoy every bit of current plot with these three amazing actors in the mix....and i wish this love triangle would last for longer....

Honestly Ste never deserved Doug, someone who was kind and caring and over the course of their relationship, truly loved Ste heart and soul and although I do believe Ste did love Doug it was never in same way or even as much as he loved Brendan. Unfortunately Doug seemed to always come second with Ste and ultimately I think it was his relationship with Ste that caused his death.

Holy crap.... each day this storyline gets better. My jaw was on the ground this entire episode. Hollyoaks is perfection right now with this storyline. By far one of my favorite gay storylines ever. *Bows down* I gotta say, I think Stug is too adorable together and Doug deserves a bit of luck, but Stendan are pure fire. I get butterflies myself when I watch then interact, something I don't get with Stug. If I had to choose, I want Stendan in the longrun.
I agree...I always use to watch my friends shouting at the tv screen and just shake my head, but this time it was me shouting. I'm addicted now and I can wait to see what's next.

I was happy when Brendan seemed to bare his soul to Ste, then thought RUN Ste when the evil grin was shown, wanted him to tell Doug that he felt the same way, thought he was mean to tell Doug to leave, wanted it to be Doug that he went looking for, was kinda pleased it was Brendan, liked the kiss, was disappointed that it cut to Doug instead of doing a nice close-up but didn't like that Doug was hurt. And now reading all the theories about Ste, worried!
The moment Ste realised he wasn't as over Brendan as he thought and could fall back into his schemes so easily because that's all he wanted, when he realised the hold Brendan still had over him, when Brendan walked out laughing, he was close, Ste was close to giving in. Then when Doug came in bared his soul, was completely vulnerable and showed him his heart, Ste saw the truth, the veil was lifted, he saw the love he could have, the love he wanted and knowing Brendan, he saw the lies or Brendan's veiled truth and knew he had to make a decision. To knowingly and willingly fall back into Brendan's schemes because a part of his soul ached for Brendan or to choose true love, vulnerable love, the kind he wanted with Brendan but didn't think he would have, the kind he has with Doug. Throw away a kind adoring love for a dangerous obsessed love? The decision was clear and the only way to start over and truly cut the ties was to play Brendan at his own game. I love this scene. I love Brendan and Ste. I love Doug and Ste.

Doug was definitely the better option, anyway, but it's more the fact that Brendan doesn't seem to have changed at all. I can't understand how the writers of Hollyoaks can even try having Stendan back together, Ste needs Doug and it's obvious that Doug needs Ste, especially after the whole suicide fiasco.

Yes indeed. I almost cried myself. I love PJ he is just an amazing actor and in these past few weeks he has really shone brightly like the rising star that he is. But, I think I understand why Ste chose Brendan. A few years ago Ste was like a smaller more pitiful version of Brendan. He used to abuse Amy just like Brendan abused him (What a difference a few years makes). If Brendan truly has changed I think that he and Ste would get along fabulously. I have to say, however your rooting for, Brendan or Doug. The actor playing Doug (sorry don't know his name) what a wonderful bit of acting. Crying and making it believable are SO hard!!

OMFG!!!! this made me sad! somewhere in the deepest depths of my soul I lingered for them to get together again since I felt Brendan still loves Ste and Ste is not over him (or indeed never was). I love Brendan as a character but hate him for being soooooo mean to Ste. But I kind of saw it coming after Doug cried in the shop, something broke in Ste's eyes, was it the 'don't want what can get so easily' thing or Doug's desperation... who knows (advise-never come clean this way about loving sbd)

I think the pause at alone was simply becuase he planned that Ste would be there. He was making point. The pause was quite brief and he didnt stammer over the word. Think about it.
I think Ste has learned a lot from Brendan and when he left the shop he had a smirk on his face as if he has something planed, yeah i think someone is about to get played but its not Ste. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Yes indeed. I almost cried myself. I love PJ he is just an amazing actor and in these past few weeks he has really shone brightly like the rising star that he is.
But, I think I understand why Ste chose Brendan. A few years ago Ste was like a smaller more pitiful version of Brendan. He used to abuse Amy just like Brendan abused him (What a difference a few years makes).
If Brendan truly has changed I think that he and Ste would get along fabulously. That doesn't mean I like it. #TeamStug
I was smiling so much when Brendan was telling Ste that he wanted to change and to be with him but then he grins so you now his still playing Ste.Ste i feel has feelings for the both guys but his playing Brendan.Because later his back with Doug.The kiss was so adorable i just love when they kiss you can see the sexual chemistry happening.Sorry Doug.
