I think what Haruka means in this case is that she's one of ancestors of Daigo, one of the Battle Pass skins for this seasons. I won't go to deep into the lore, but basically, Daigo's ancestors created masks with evil magic. A war was fought, eventually outlawing the evil masks. Daigo's family owned a mask making shop, which he'd later come to inherit.

Maybe, but with both definitions don't fit well, best case to match that would be that the ancestors are very spread out, but to my understanding (especially if a war was fought) there may be a different kind of mask, maybe with good magic. Especially with the name Haruka of the Masks it can probably mean there's a shift in that power, especially with Haruka meaning so closely to spring like the weather, so most realistic case is that there may or may not have been a close tie to those ancestors, but it's far enough away from those to be considered different

Everyone complains about the skin but the only reason why epic picked it was a excuse to give miku a leek pickaxe so people who are desperate for her skin would buy the crew pack for the pickaxe alone.

Its always like this.. i miss the days when we get diffwrwnt style option not just the main focus onces till galaxyish tier.. nowadays its either some cheap skin remake, mascot skins, based on the chapter and season (overrated tbh just look at chapter 2-3 crewpass skins they havd nothing to do with storyline since chaptwr 4 they being doing that) and skins with this type of accesories no one likes, big skirts, more arms, big hitbox etc etc

While I love this season’s map I can’t help but feel most of the non collab skins look way too similar. Skins like butter dog and the tanuki were pretty unique but outside of that it’s mostly just been swords and masks.
Not really we got skins like Nemi,Torment,Ryuji,Shogun X and the new Harmonie skin and none of those have masks.And evn then the ones with masks don't look all that similar apart from having masks Haruka looks nothing like the new Jade skin and she doesn't look like the december crew pack.
