My advice to Npp is to not touch the galamsey issue. Ndc is deliberatly trying to set a trap for Npp to their advantage. In 2020 when the Npp government took a drastic measure to curb the galamsey menace Ndc went behind the scene to commiserate with the galamseyers and in the end Npp lost most of its seats in the galamsey endemic areas to Ndc. Because it favoured Ndc in 2020 they have contracted their journalists to raise the issue again in 2024 to their advantage. Npp must be wise in handling the issue so as not to lose in the end.
