We reviewed the BluGuitar BluBox. It is a Speaker Simulator with Impulse Responses (IR) from 16 different speaker cabinets. The microphone position can be changed with the Mic Position knob.

@@jamesdacus7367 well it has a stereo output right? i think about getting it and putting it like this: pedals -> amp -> torpedo captor -> blubox -> nux atlantic -> computer/headphones,
You can also use ir's in mono before the stereo effects.
Thanks for the no talking demo. Many of the tones have the same sonic footprint and while I dug them the unit didn't seem diverse enough. You can definitely get that cool "High N Dry" tone though.
This is nice and simple box with lot of sound in it!! Nice video.
It’s fine if Marshall is your thing or various Fender cabs. I could see using the Vox cab or the Twin JBL/Jensen but that’s about it. I usually use Altec, JBL or Fane ferrite with Hiwatt, Ampeg, Morgan amps so most of these amp sims don’t really offer what I’m after. None of them sound natural or respond live - in real time because, by design they cannot. But they’re not too bad for certain applications. Amp sims, on the other hand, are to my sensibilities, unusable in any application.

sounds great. I am definitely going to invest in one to compliment my Amp 1. I don't want to fiddle about loading cab iR's, I just want a decent front of house sound and the rest will come from my 2x12 v30 loaded cab.
When that "Clip" indicator lights up, isn't that a problem? If the original signal is clean, but the sound coming out of this box is distorted, it seems that you're either clipping in the input, or the box adds more than just a cabinet simulation. I'm in the market for one of these, so I'm genuinely curious. Thanks for presenting!
Clip is not a problem. It has even red indication and that also is not a problem because of the protections that are built in this thing as Thomas Blug said in one of his demos. He also said that he likes when its red.

Hi is there a equivalent to the blu box in features and price range??? Been trying to buy one, seller on eBay cancelled my order and took the pedal off tonight and now I'm awaiting my money back and no blu box's being sold so looking for and alternative, HELP
Just one problem. The sound when the bluebox is switched off is so much better. I dont see the point in buying this. My SUHR IR sounds so much better.
Clearly the sound with the bluebox switched off is not better.
It just kills the dynamic of the pristine signal of the amp ....very handy o_O
