It astounds me that this isn't a classic amongst the greatest songs in its class. Not genre, mind. Love Metal is their own. Yet, my God, I feel such peace listening. How does this not have + 1,000,000 views?
I adore this song, makes me cry and stop breathing. I know HIM since 1999, but I really think that this is Ville's masterpiece. I guess Ville cried out all his wounds too, being hurted in love. He's a poet, a gentleman, a sensitive and intelligent man and it was a pity to see him drunk and lost. I hope that Ville has gone forever and I prefer this one: "old", mature, without make-up and sober! I wish HIM all the best, they deserve it!

I've had it in my car CD player ever since! I was listening to it this morning and thinking, "what kind of magic does this CD have over me that I can't stop listening to it?!?" It's definitely one of, if not THE, best HIM albums they ever released. So sad they called it quits. Makes you wonder what more could have come from them, seeing how great this album was. Also... Venus Doom is VERY good indeed! And of course Dark Light will always be a kind of "break through" album for them. Really wish they would get back together and give us more songs like this "Disarm Me..." song. Miss them so much! PS) You have good musical taste!
It is songs like this that show how incredibly talented and versatile Ville Valo is. He can go from rocking the hell out of a song to caressing it with tenderness in the next track. LOVE HIM.

@auroraviola i would'nt feel quite as upsett apart from the fact sadley this is the third version of the same album released, and the fourth 'remix' album (b-sides or remixes in previous case) i've seen them many times but the last time in london 4 years ago the band seemed lackluster and bored,i struggle to see them producing REAL new music while pushing an album (which wasent thier best) in many formats, P.S Disarm me is the only song i truely enjoy on this album so i agree 100% there with you
