    Looking forward to the video on which way to split after dumping. I've got some idea but would be great to hear it discussed.

      Just figuring out if I make it with game footage or film at one of our training sessions

    The way you look at forward passes is correct. I hate when people don’t get this, it ruins skilful attacking football

    Totally agree with u on the "forward pass" tap on from the passive link... was a game changer for Doylo too. Was watching it live, crowd didn't like the decision either

      I was in the crowd too! Everyone was shocked on how well it was executed. I believe there was a tough forward pass call against Coast later in the game too

    With Doyalson's third try, in the slow-mo replay (starting at about 16:20), it doesn't look like the dumper actually steps over the ball? Do you not have to? Or is it all happening so fast the referees just can't see?

    • @touch.screen
      @touch.screen  11 месяцев назад

      Probably just with everything happening the refs aren’t fully focused on that as it is considered a minor thing. But yes you are supposed to step over the ball

    When the Doyalson wing was sent for time, Dolphins had 7 players on. Whats your thoughts there? Back to halfway for a Dolphins penalty? 7:59

    • @touch.screen
      @touch.screen  11 месяцев назад +1

      I think the player on the bottom of the screen is standing in the sub box

    • @touch.screen
      @touch.screen  11 месяцев назад

      But yes the ruling is penalty at halfway to Doyalson if they had 7 on

      Ye, you're right. Just watched it again and he's not tracked play so definitely not the winger, my bad.

    Amazing video, Thanks !
    I have a question : why are they switching side at each try ? Is it something usual in Australia or in other high-level Touch countries ?

    • @touch.screen
      @touch.screen  Год назад +1

      In state competitions because of the large amount of teams and games needed to get through in 3 days.
      The games were shortened to a straight 30 minutes and teams swap directions after each try.
      Our national comps are still traditional 2 halves format.

      @varsityvandalstouch3165 Год назад +1

      The games are 30 minutes straight through, with no half-time, so they switch after each score. I think it was because there were a large number of teams, so time was tight.

    What are your thoughts on Doyalson's last possession? They ran a phase. The Doyalson link dropped it but the Dolphins link and winger were well offside. I thought that it potentially deserved a penalty. Thoughts on why it may not have been?

    • @touch.screen
      @touch.screen  11 месяцев назад +1

      I believe that’s what Doyalson were pointing at. I guess it comes down to if they had an impact in the dropped ball. Ref call there.

    Another great video. Could you do an analysis of the ADF Warriors MO game on day 2 of NSW SC 2023? It starts at 37:48 on thebNSW Touch YT link. I think it would be a great initiative to show the talent the Australian Defence Force Touch Association has in its ranks.

      Why? They were exposed by Parra in the final and its mens open B 😂

      @cashmeoutside8995 I see your point. However, that team came together a week prior to the SC, and still managed to beat other teams that had been training for months prior and often play together at affiliate level. The adaptability and skill level of those guys to gel quickly and perform against well oiled teams is commendable. Parramatta is a very good team. Noone is taking that away from them. A well deserved victory.

      @@jasonn1210 Correction they had more than a month with camps in Amberley and Williamtown playing both QLD and NSW state cups. With the camp in Williamtown they were training with Newcastle city opens mens team.The core group have all played togther for a while, don't act like that was a string togther team.

    Doyalson looked a little out of legs in this last game, I've seen them sharper.

      Agree. It poured down rain in the semi finals. They were absolutely outstanding in the rain against Renegades in that game. Maybe just too hard too early? Not sure
