    What can I say about this fantastic gentleman? The tickers ring goes on the top ring space and the second thickness one goes on the second ring and the oil rings are so thing they goes either side of the main bit that goes in the middle. Really nice detail. 5 thumbs up from me and plz subscribe to this really kind and knows his stuff is that's got to be worth a sub. Take care motorcycle fan and big shoot out to the motorcycle fixer. Take care m8

    Hello, would you know why my 125cc pitbike won’t click into 3rd and 4th it’s was fine last time I rode it but it’s been sat for a year since I haven’t had time to do anything with it, it’s only had about 6 hours riding time.
    Thanks

      Hi
      Is the engine turning when you're changing gear
      The gearbox has to be turned sometimes for the gears to mesh

    What can happen if the piston is in upside down so the intake is on the bottom

    • @motorcyclefixer
      @motorcyclefixer  2 года назад +1

      On a four stroke the cutouts for the valves are usually different sizes so the piston could hit the valves

    Why does this engine not have a small end bearing.

    • @motorcyclefixer
      @motorcyclefixer  3 года назад

      Hi
      Thanks for your question
      It's a four stroke engine and Four strokes don't have small end bearings as a rule

    • @bulpinbros
      @bulpinbros 3 года назад +1

      @@motorcyclefixer reason I asked is because I've just stripped my son's stomp engine, the gudgeon pin is well scored grooved, it was very hard getting the pin out.
      So thought it wouldn't get like that if it had a bearing.

    • @motorcyclefixer
      @motorcyclefixer  3 года назад +1

      @@bulpinbros yes I've seen it a few times on pitbikes.
      Need to make sure the oil is topped up and changed regularly
      Sometimes it can happen even then if the engine overheats

      @@motorcyclefixer I've just ordered front brake for my son's stomp 140 , the front brake on it is a single pot, but the ones I got in the post today are twin pot. Is there a correct one.

    • @motorcyclefixer
      @motorcyclefixer  3 года назад

      @@bulpinbros I'm not sure what the standard fitment is on there I'm sorry.
      Look at pictures on Google of the same bike and see what's on them.
      If the original is single pot then I would replace like for like
