GROCERY STORE OVERVIEW:
I'm going to take you along with me to a special grocery store - Nature's Fare Markets in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. I am searching high and low for the ingredients on my mystery meal list!
In this episode you can learn how to find items and ingredients in a grocery store! We'll go through the steps of remembering our reusable bags and grocery list, finding our ingredients, going to the cash register and the best part - bringing it all back home to eeeaaattttt! My friend Millie loves to cook so today I've got my list so we can cook together.. and I'll teach you how to make a delicious, healthy meal!
YARD WORK OVERVIEW:
Join me as I help my neighbor with a major big spring task - cleaning up the yard!! It always makes me feel good to help a neighbor in need, and have some fun while I'm doing it! I'm going to take you along with me as I play in the backyard... and in big fun piles of leaves! Have you ever jumped in a leaf pile before? It's one of my favorite things to do!!
We'll learn about the tools that are commonly used to do yard work like lawnmowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, rakes and shovels. AND don't forget your gloves!!! I'm even going to show you my favorite green bin where we put all of our leaves and pine needles, sticks and more!
Meet me in the kitchen this week because my friend Millie is going to help me make a delicious smoothie to give us all the energy we need to get out there, enjoy the sunshine, brisk air and good times!!
PUPPET SHOW OVERVIEW:
Join me as I teach you about all kinds of.... puppets!! I love playing with puppets! Do you have any puppets? There are many different kinds to learn about! Finger puppets, hand puppets, home made puppets, a marionete puppet.. a shadow puppet! They are so much fun!
I'm going to set up my puppet show stand and let my imagination fly!! Will you join me? We'll get to meet my hand puppets - pig, cow, tiger, monkey... and a few more of my favorite puppet friends!
In this episode we'll take a crafting break with my good friends Millie and Mo to learn how to make popsicle stick, paper puppets! Do you want to try and make them at home too? I bet you have all the materials you need already in your house!! The best part is - you get to make any puppet you want and then you can use your imagination to tell stories, do puppet shows, play with friends inside and outdoors - the world is your puppet oyster!!
FLYING A KITE OVERVIEW:
Join me as I head out to one of my favorite parks on a wonderfully windy day to fly a kite!! Have you ever flown a kite before? It can be a little tricky but once you get it up in there, there's nothing like it! I love to watch the kite swirl, twirl, flip and dip all through the sky!
I'm going to teach you how to launch and fly a kite and show you what you'll need to take one out on the perfect windy day! All you need is a kite, a windy day, and you. Wellll maybe bring some snacks too! In this episode we'll take a story time break to read and draw out a story about flying a kite! I love to read and I hope you do to.
