I have the avenger hurricane 45mm which is basically the older brother of this one and I love it, although I have also the new super chronomat ice blue and the superocean and other watches the hurricane is the one I might have the biggest emotional connection, this is why I understand what you mean when you felt connection. It’s so rugged, tool military looking kinda ugly in the most beautiful of ways. And yes after almost 4 years looks still like new and unstoppable. 🎉❤ great review btw love you putting emotions in it. It's an awesome watch. I checked the new ones out last week. The bezel is great. Right up there with a sub for sure.
Great looking watch! Really wish they would have used black PVD or DLC for the clasp though.

I bought it some months ago and its lightweight as a feather. Looks great as well.
I’ve seen it at the AD and it does not wear as big as you’d think. Very light weight and comfortable. Much smaller feeling than prior Avengers.
Black watches wear much smaller than their dimensions suggest.
