Shoot, you can use me as a guinea pig, I've had IA for about 5-6 years and have attacks sometimes 25-45 times a year. Has even happened 5 times in one month, I've been told it's being caused by stress. But in any case epinephrine pens are too expensive for me so I have to drink anywhere from a half bottle to a full bottle of Benadryl in order to stop it fast, I have passed out 5 ft from hospital entrance and woke up after my pulse going down to about 16-17. And it's very scary to not have anything that your allergic to, I've done all the panels and tests, and all they can say is it might be stress related........ Medicine like those you mentioned does not work, I still got attacks on them ,......so just wanted to say my piece, since I had one of my most dangerous attacks couple of days ago.... Jogging and was about 2miles from home when it started so the fact that I had to run home for Benadryl was even worse.... I've jogged the same area around my neighborhood before and no problem, and I've also kept a food ,place and time diary to see that it has never happened with the same foods places or times....... If anyone reads this and has it , I deeply feel your struggle and pain..... This disease is a real IDIOT.....LOL

      We hope this helps!
