    That pike was bleeding pretty bad. Should’ve just kept it

      Pike will recover from that amount of blood without a problem. I have caught Pike with a gill that has been torn into and it was hanging out the gill plate, and they were doing just fine. The worst thing in this video was hanging the big Pike on the scale. That can tear its internal organs away from the throat, and you will never know you killed that fish. As they will swim off just fine, but will die a day or 2 later.

    Very poor fish handling. You should never hang a big pike or muskie by a scale. They should be weighed in a net if you need to weigh them. You should hold them with 2 hands at all times, 1 hand pinching the gill plate and the other supporting their belly.

    Check out the 25.75 pound tiger muskie I caught a couple weeks ago here at lake tapps. First tiger I have ever caught. It's on my channel. I got a couple clips of it
