    Try a white crank bait next time. I have great luck with that color or a white twister tail.

    I grew up on the Susquehanna and been fishing rivers and streams for decades. Never thought of winter fishing for smallies until this year. Thanks for this video. I’m trying to get all the knowledge about winter river fishing I can. What kind of net is that by the way. Over 30 years of wade fishing and I never carried a net. 😂

      Appreciate the feedback my man. The net is from a brand called “EGO” it’s their measure net. Super nice! They have a ton of different types though if you fish from a boat or kayak.

      @@fishkrazed thanks Broski! I’m going to pick one up. I strictly wade. I travel 3 or more miles in a trip so I carry as little as possible. Last year I was cracking into smallies 4-5lbs and 3’s pretty consistently. I was wishing I had a net a few times. I need to find something thats big enough but not too big. Looking forward to checking out more of your content!

      @@drewevans8850 thanks man! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I love that net though. I’ve landed a couple 20” smallies in it, many 19’s. I’m hoping to make my way to the susky this spring/summer with my kayak. I’ve heard awesome things about that place!

      @@fishkrazed I grew up on the north branch. I live in MD now and have a really healthy small river I’ve been doing well in. But fish the north branch of the Susquehanna every time I’m visiting my folks. I fish the upper Potomac and the Shenandoah a few times a year too. What state are you in? Sorry only seen a couple of your vids so far.

      Mannnn how could you leave the susky?! 😂 I live in northern WV currently, but I travel a lot. I’ve fished some of the Potomac when I was visiting family.

    What weight did you use on that football head? 3/8?

    • @fishkrazed
      @fishkrazed  Год назад +1

      3/8 and 1/2 ounce in this video. First fish was 3/8, and the second fish I had to switch to 1/2 because I was using an old jighead and it broke on me lol

      @@fishkrazed Nice. Thats what i use. I fish the same kind of waters you fish. I like how you explain what and how you fish certain areas. Just earned a new sub!
