  • How to replace one of the vacuum hose lines on an S60. Should be similar for many other Volvos. Note the part comes with the hoses and white check valves installed. If you are getting air leak check engine codes you might try replacing these hoses. It is one of those things its not expensive and if your old hose is soft and cracked it probably needs to just be replaced anyway.

    mine is a 05 s60 2.5t ordered from FCPEuro and looking for a nice day to replace. the short hose goes into the purge valve. it is interesting that of these hose connections do not have clamps. thanks for the video

    I am replacing mine, and I am using some matching inner-diameter heater core hose and it's working amazing. I was able to get the hose for $7/foot which makes the job far less expensive than buying the OE volvo part.

      What is the inner-diameter by the way?

      @@ty-jq2di The inner diameter is 5mm. The silicone heater core hose I'm using is labeled as 9mm outer diameter.

    Considering that heat rises, I would've run that underneath that intake manifold channel.
