Two people Buster Onley and Chipper Jones knows how good this kid is. Before he was drafted it was said he's going to lead his team to a world series championship.

Imagine how good the braves can be if he can find consistency next season

    1. The HR he hit off of Lugo apparently went 413ft, I think it went at least 440 2. If he lays off the slider low and away, he'll be a dangerous hitter at the plate

Acuña, Albies, Riley and Freeman that lineup is scary

Absolutely agreed. Especially once Riley solves his plate discipline issue. He needs to sit on fastballs and not worry about sliders and curveballs.

I've seen him play in high school. With his defense and power OFFENSE he's going to to be All pro by his 3rd year. Because he wa All pro his first two years.

he’s gonna bounce back this year. we need to grab joc pederson to platoon with duvall, camargo and riley are gonna be rock solid at the hot corner, and our offense is gonna be lights out.
people sleeping on him after his struggles need only to check this video. he’s still VERY young. and look at the guys he’s hitting MASSIVE bombs off of! Nola twice. freakin deGrom!! Strasburg. i mean. it don’t get no better than that.

2:12 I was at that game! I was doing a drive through the desert road trip and ended it in San Francisco. Oracle Park is beautiful but watching the Braves win was the highlight of being in SF.

Kid has monster power. When he gets the whole pitch recognition issue solved at the plate he's going to be very dangerous.
Definitely think most Atlanta fans are being a little too dismissive of him... Acuña spoiled them.

I’m a huge Braves fan but if Riley sees extended playing time we are in trouble. Johan is the man at 3rd he will give you at least as much offensively and way more defensively. I get that Austin is a fan favorite but go look at his advanced stats from last year. I think Camargo will look like 2018 again. They’re both streaky guys but I mean damn Riley has to learn how to sit back and not go caveman. Nobody will throw him fastballs at the belt anymore. Austin Riley MUST adjust. Period. Spring is great but it means very little. I hope who ever is playing finds success though! Seriously not hating on Austin Riley, just my honest opinion.

Ooh Yeaaah But if he fixes that, he really has what it takes to hit 30 or 40

I played baseball with Austin in highschool and I think he is going to do much better than anyone the Braves will have for a while. He's still very young let's give him time.
