Does anybody know of a website where you can watch foreign historical movies and TV series starting before Christ and to the medieval times with English subtitles that's the type of movies and TV series that I like we're Men with men with swords and their bare hands
According to one version; the great historian al-Tabarī at the beginning of the annal for AH170 says 'there is a difference of opinion as to the cause. Some say it was because of an internal ulcer, and others say that his death was caused by the slave girls of his mother' (Khayzurān). He then goes on to relate the various stories surrounding Mūsa al-Hādī's death, who was twenty six when he died.
The accounts say that his death was natural, but the time of his died made some historians suspect that he was poisoned. And that his mother did this for the good of the state. We are not sure about this.. but we are sure of only one thing. that his death was in the interest of the state and the people. Harun al-Rashid is the best choice to be the king and ruler of Muslims. He was a strong, wise and brave man. He even managed to defeat the occupiers, the Crusaders. And make Muslims live their golden age. At a time when Europe was living in the age of darkness.
@@salimd7842 I agree with you that Harun al-Rashid was the best choice as Khalifa (as we now know in hindsight al-Hamdulillah). But the "Crusaders" did not appear until 4 centuries after al-Rashid's death... I guess you are mixing up the Byzantines (Eastern Romans) and crusaders from Western Europe centuries later, but those two are completely different. The Romans were neighbours of the Khilafa from the beginning and were sometimes at war and sometimes in peace (like neighbouring empires usually do) and there was not yet a 'holy war' sanctioned by the pope until centuries later during Seljuk ghazwa of Anatolia. The extremist Crusaders did not exist yet and did not occupy Bilad ash- Sham during Harun al-Rashid 's time. There were just border wars with the Romans and a temporary Ghazwa of Anatolia which al-Rashid (Rahimuhullah) led victorious and got his name from...
Although a far better way of depicting historical personalities than what I know from East and West, I cannot understand why the account always has to be accompanied by the music.
