the ONLY thing, holding the F-4C back is that it gets ZERO flares
I don’t mind the missiles, 9E is easy to use once you’re behind someone and the 7s just use them for head ons. No flares really sucks tho especially since I got tired of using the f5c and grinded all the way to the f4c

Literally. With all the ahistorical shit they keep adding I wish they'd just give it flares. I'd even take the hit and have it raised to 10.3 if it did.
@@ArcticWipeoutF-4F Early is 10.3 no flares or AIM-7 but 4 9Js also no CCIP so bade bombing is not easy
Getting a kill with an aim 9 b is a dub, people really gotta be dumb for that.

Hey just a tip for everyone use you’re radar to lock targets, the f4 has a ballistics computer that gives you a lead indicator to hit good luck and have fun!
I have had more instances where the EEGS system has screwed me over out of a kill then it did help. If I'm getting into a gun fight I'm turning the radar off completely now and have been doing MUCH better without it.

As a person who has spaded this plane months ago I can agree it's still pain like the German 9.7 mig 23
@JOESWANSON1982 still not as bad as the F-4F Early at 10.3 yes it has 4 9Js but no CMs like the 4C but at least 4C is better BR and has CCIP for bombs and such so bases are easy

I was excited to watch this and maybe take some of the tips and use them for grinding my British phantom……i don’t think they gave the Brit’s the additional gun pods 😢
both British Phantoms get the 20mm Gau-Pod as seen in the Video.
The F4C, FG.1 and FG.2 get no Internal Gun.
I am aware, you misread my comment, I was referring to the British planes inability to mount the additional underwing gunpods. The FG.1 and FGR.2 can only equip one, where the F-4c in the video can equip three@@noahbohren7295 🤓

Yeah but saying that the solution to grind the fgr1 and fg2 is gunpods like the f4c is stupid, so he probably assumed you meant what type of gunpods can they carry.

Yeah if you're at the airfield and had just finished repairing and rearming, you can J out and change your load out, it also makes your plane impervious to damage, meaning you can troll airfield raiders with a single button press.

Protip: just go kill ground targets if they're stalling the game by camping airfield. Those 20mms can kill anything besides pillboxes

Stock F4C is the easiest to spade if you just play sim and bomb. Once you get AAMs it makes it even easier

the unfortunate thing is the no flares part is realistic, IRL the F-4C only carried external chaff dispensers, and most people at 10.0 don't use radar missiles since they don't have PD, so the F-4C doesn't even need chaff
@@mlgrocketwell they could give it the Aim-7E since it carried it irl but that would probably move it up in BR. Or just change it the F-4B or N

@@mlgrocketthere's plenty of ahistorical shit in the game, giving this plane flares to make it playable would be a good thing. I think any plane above 10.0 should have flares regardless of if it could irl or not.
@@ArcticWipeout you see, in gaijin's mind, it has to be 1:1 to real life when it comes to america. for example, the only reason the abrams doesn't have the DU armor inserts is cause there's no way to know the real armor value. they also have to prove there's no russian bias by giving them the best spaa, the best cas, a tank that wasn't even tested IRL when it was added, and a battlecruiser that never even existed.
