Cheers! We were on Shelter Island last year. Stayed for a couple of days and visited a few of the wineries. I really like it up there. Great wine!

Hey wine lovers!! Where are my Zinfandel fans? Have you ever tried its distant ancestor, Primitivo? Which do you prefer, and why? Share here.

Hello! I'm actually drinking a PRIMITIVO right now. I've been watching your videos as I made a pizza and opened this bottle of wine. It's called CANTUS Primitivo Italia 2019. I noticed in my glass that it had a black piece of something floating on the top. I poured it out as I wasn't sure what it was.
Poured another glass, and it had nothing but the wine 🍷. To me, this one tastes like sour cherries and spicy, very smooth. On the nose, it smells like sour cherries and fruity. The color is dark with a slightly brownish/purple color. I can't say I would buy it again, but I like the smoothness of it. Not tannic.
    Thanks for sharing 👍.
