Just a suggestion. When using the cast iron frying pan heat it 1st fry the sausage links. Then make your scrambled eggs.the eggs will not stick to pan. I love cooking with the cast iron pans.
Thank you for the tip! Nnyji doesn’t eat meat so we were trying to avoid having to wash it by making the eggs first then the sausages, but you are most certainly right haha!

@@Lacirose88 Santi said that before I started cooking them and I said I didn’t want butter in my eggs 😂 instant regret while washing the pan. Thank you for being here! We’ll be sharing more about us in the next video.
@Beanbugging just use hot water, fill it up. It can soak for awhile or you can place it back on the firepit to heat it up. Just scrape it, til clean. Dry on low heat and your done. Van lightly grease.

Glad to find your channel! I am a 40 year old single woman. I have very simple desires these days. A slow pace is divine. I love nature, quiet, lil house projects, and cozy feels. It looks like you do too! I’ve been doing pet sitting part time… it gives me an opportunity to take time from my massage job (which I do love but in balance) and just beeeeeeeee. Right now I’m in a nice country home with a cute pup playing fetch…just appreciating it all. Adding in, I love the candle light too. Candles and fires soothe the soul.
I’m always amazed by how your kitties are used to be out in random places, stay around you and come back. They don’t wander off. It’s so nice! ❤️❤️❤️

We have similar lives. Beautiful home and life. Suggestion would be to in the morning leave your door open to allow fresh air in to dry up the moisture. Wash them down with vinegar to help kill mold spores. Get a bag of salt, it will help absorb the moisture in the air.
If you have a screen, leave a window cracked all the time.

When using a cast iron skillet I’d like to give you a suggestion. Let your pan get hot before dumping your eggs. This is also good for stainless steel pans. Then you should have cooked the sausage first and then the eggs. You wouldn’t have had the eggs burn as much on the bottom of pan. ❤

Happy holidays. I just came across your channel and must say I’m intrigued by the slower living. It’s more like slower living with a purpose and it’s wonderful. I think we all need to slow down a bit and smell the coffee so to speak. This is such a simple but hard life living this way but it’s soooo much healthier for us. Cute little home you have
Loved the macrame' wall hanging above bed, plus decorative bed pillow. I haven't tied macrame' in many years(decades?), but have 3 large spools of same material used in your hanging, likely 3-strand cotton cord. I should kill some couch time this winter by designing and tying up a hanging, instead of watching so many YT videos. LOL!
I made pie for a family holiday gathering last month, but combined oven roasted sweet potato and butternut squash(50/50) because I had plenty of both on hand. A lot of folks wouldn't notice a difference from pumpkin once sugar & spices are added, but I'm sure you would if you favor sweet potato. I feel roasting brings out more of the sweetness in both vegetables, so you may want to try dicing them up, or do larger cubes, wrap them together in foil and place on coals in your fire pit. I like to blind bake the pie crust for 15 minutes before adding the filling so I don't end up with a soggy crust. You could do that on top of coals too. The glaze or sauce you made for salmon looked tasty. Try serving salmon on a bed of(or alongside) cooked spinach, kale, or collards if you like greens. Who doesn't like greens? :) Thanks for sharing!
