Hey Gerald, It was a long journey to finally find the perfect upright piano - and the best recording setup as well! I bought the piano from Mr Rolf Bosse, who was the chief voicer of the Grotrian Company in Braunschweig. This was his private piano. I had a Schimmel K125 before - great keyboard and playability - but the sound especially in the low middle an bass register was not very balanced and I never was happy with the recording. Then aimed at a Bechstein Concert 8, but still was not completely convinced. I knew Grotrian was great but never tried one before. Then I was really curious when Mr Bosse was selling this Instrument, I came around trying it out in his living room. I hit only a few chords and I KNEW: This is it!
