Look, you don't understand. We simply needed to know the deets on what Ganyu's horns actually feel like. Thank you Shenhe, for sacrificing yourself to obtain this valuable information. Godspeed.
Event so good, we even got Arnold lore. I agree so hard with concept of finding a "real" job. It's more important to have the motivated mindset to make money doing something you enjoy, rather than going into a career you don't feel motivated to do but it pays the bills. I'm fortunate to have similar parents that support me making money from doing anything I set my mind on as long as I'm not being lazy or causing any trouble.
The asian parent mentality actually comes from something very deep and very harsh. A tragedy that the rest of the world is not facing to the same extent, is well..population. Asian parents, grew up in households with multiple siblings, no matter how good your income, with that population, you just cannot feed enough people. Our parents and their parents before them, has seen their respective parents strive their arse off, kill their own dreams and any hope for a decent living just to ensure their children survive and grow up capable enough to feed themselves and their families. We asians have a very strong joint family system, if we didn't, a lot of us probably wouldn't have survived. Anyone who can earn, starts to contribute in the family. To keep everyone afloat. This way even the less well to do family members have a chance to stay afloat. This is why, money is important. Very very important. And the best way to get a high paying job, was to well be good in studies. Business needs a lot of initial investment and includes risk that you cant afford. Jobs with less growth potential means you ll probably never increase your income. So doctors, engineers, etc become prime professions. I am asian, and i do realize that in the modern world the same rules don't apply, but them pushing us for good marks and good jobs stems from their desire to at least make our lives easier. They did all they could, by educating me and raising me well...and they don't want to see us suffer once they are gone. Ofcourse i am not going super deep into it, the greed sometimes goes both ways "If i take care of my child then he/she will take care of me too". And honestly I will never ever fight back against it. If i am not there for my parents during their old age, then who will be? i will not go into others' life stories but i was an only child. My dad was the only money bringer in the family and we weren't well to do. My dad used to walk to work, mother used to reuse the same clothes and everything in the house till its in tatters, all so that i could go to school ina brand new uniform. Our finances got better as i grew older, but we would still be in the middle class at best. My mother and dad lived an extremely frugal life style for themselves, just so that they could save for my college and my other needs. I was never prohibited from taking any hobbies, but my dad did say to me one day, that we cannot afford to let you take financial risks. We would love if you continue arts, sports, or whatever you like as your hobby. But we cannot afford to have you choose that as your main career because if it doesn't work, we don't have enough safety net to keep you and us afloat. He did not say this out of any expectation from me but rather in his own guilt. The only rules i had to abide by:- 1 - Go to school/college and take studies seriously. We understand you cant get perfect grades everytime, but try your best. 2 - Take on any hobby as long as its not super expensive or risky to your well being(like some sort of extreme sport and stuff) 3- Stay away from gambling and peers who can stray you down the wrong path. We neither have the money , nor the contacts if you land in any trouble. So yea, I am not talking about all asian parents in general, but for my parents, i know what they did and why they had to do it. And i completely understand both Gaming and his father's side. Our parents worked hard, just so that their children can have the life they couldn't have..and they just wanna give it to them. Its not that they do not support our dreams, but it makes them bleed too, watching us suffer the way they once probably did.
In hindsight, Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper being the funniest part of Lantern Rite should've prepared me for Fujin and "Bluey" also being funny and awkward. All the adepti are unintentionally hilarious.
I got the biggest smile from YaoYao making a Finch kite for Qiqi and the biggest of laughs from Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper's shared hilarious same brain cell shenanigans
I have really loved to see the reaction and hear the stories of all the RUclipsrs/streamers with Gaming's family situation and what qualifies as a real job/dealing with parental expectations. I think many of us can relate to different parts of this quest because life especially family can be messy, some of us never managed to navigate it but others do and I appreciate they chose this theme for the lantern rite's story when it's a very joyful festival and festivals like these can be a sour reminder to some people of their situations
I want to laugh, dig a hole, and buried myself because of felt second embarrassment seeing moon carver and mountain shaper trying to hide their true identity 😂😂😂😂
i already commented on the first lantern rite bit video, but parental pressure is real in a very weird way - it's not always mean is the odd thing. i'm not asian, but i'm indigenous, and the generational trauma of us as a people suffering pushes a lot of our parents and elders to be harder on us because they want us to not have to suffer like they did. it's hard to prove to them that things aren't as horrible as they imagine anymore, because nothing is perfect or anything, but they grew up in a worse time. they worry about wasted potential as they like to call it, not because they want us to be miserable, but because they are scared of us being miserable in ways worse than just dissatisfaction. it's sad in a way, because to them they're watching their young ones fall into misery even though it's not necessarily true. it's hard to make them see that things are different, because they are really hardheaded and think you're going to sabotage yourself, and it kind of makes that tension where they don't understand you're not going to insta-fail and they push back against your ideas because they're worried but it comes off really irritating and oppressive. basically, you're right about everything you were saying! it's so good to see this talked about in a popular media like this with fans that probably really get it on a personal level. this lantern rite was so beautiful, and it makes me really happy!
Hahaha I love too Yaoyaos friendship with Qiqi so much ❤. Also yeah I did this before Xianyun SQ I didn’t even know about the prerequisite I think , I’m not sure, would’ve loved to no not have done it that way. And recently in 5.1 they also had the event with the prerequisite of the AQ and I didn’t know like for that one I’m sure I didn’t receive a warning nor anything
Seeing Gaming ordering dimsum for breakfast, and a TON of it is so real. My father's sister's son once treated my family to dimsum when we were in HK and they ordered a whole table of dimsum to the point i cant eat anymore 😂
I personally think there's a deeper problem of society, and the demand for entertainers is part of the symptom. The fact that someone can make money as a streamer doesn't bode well for the future to me. But that's way too deep. I don't blame anyone for going with the times, and I can't deny the determination it takes to make it. Building and keeping an audience takes skill and discipline.
Now that you mentioned about Paimon’s resemblance to a kite, if Paimon IS celestia’s kite, that would mean Paimon is flying in the sky from celestia’s POV, and celestia is in the sky from our POV, so…doesn’t that mean Teyvat is somehow upside down?
This whole time, from Xianyun's SQ to the Lantern Rite's Acts, was just a trial by fire for Arnold to see whether he can skip Xianyun :v
Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper, quick play dumb!
Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper: who are you?
NOT THAT DUMB!
6:07 this is the podcast we all have been waiting for LOL. Editor's really goated on this one 😂
The fact Menogias had an eye for fashion lowkey makes sense why Chiori resonated with geo now lmao
A bunch of DIVAS 🤎

i feel that Xianyun just say the "this would make a nice addition to my collection" each time she see a child with parental issue

Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper being clowns was the highlight of the entire event

My heart melted when Yaoyao wanted to make a kite for Qiqi. These two are so precious!
I want to laugh, dig a hole, and buried myself because of felt second embarrassment seeing moon carver and mountain shaper trying to hide their true identity 😂😂😂😂
46:55 Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper sharing a single brain cell.
And thus it became a shipping. 😂😅

Ahh, the skins whose owners we STILL haven't seen since on banners...
Poor people who bought them without owning the characters...
Putting my paimon kite right next to my beloved paimon portrait in my teapot 😂
Shenhe is such a dork and I love her 😂
Hahaha I love too Yaoyaos friendship with Qiqi so much ❤. Xianyun is such a mother and I love her so much 😭❤️
I did lantern rite before Xianyun’s story quest and I was so confused when Shuyu showed up. I was like “who???”
Seeing Gaming ordering dimsum for breakfast, and a TON of it is so real. My father's sister's son once treated my family to dimsum when we were in HK and they ordered a whole table of dimsum to the point i cant eat anymore 😂
😍 Tommorow is a day of drip marketing

45:39 ARNOLD DID NOT JUST GET THE MOST MAJESTIC SHOT EVER WHAT THE HECK
THE BUTTERFLY PHOTOBOMB MADE IT SO MUCH BETTER AAAAAA
33:13 angel and paimon in same sentence is sus more than ever since after 5.1 aq to me.
I would never expect Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper to be the comical relief in any point of the game, but lantern rite proved us all wrong 😂
Part 2 is here 🙌, immeadiately click the notification 😂
Elysia looking at Shenhe:
Could this woman be one of my people?
Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper are like two halves of Paimon's single brain cell when it comes to lying, the majority of them goes for Mora and Food
Ohhhhhh i cant Wait for the 3rd Part
1:31 Yep, that's a thing.
Absolute cinema hehe

15:18 Is that a new character? I've never seen the tall one before :3
