To ensure a green transition, SMEs face multiple challenges: limited resources, lack of expertise, and difficulties in implementing effective carbon reduction strategies. How can SME emissions be effectively measured, to determine which processes need to be decarbonized first? What are the best decarbonization practices that can be adapted and deployed by SMEs in different sectors? What roles can public and private financial incentives play in the transition to low-carbon operations, and how can these funds be made more accessible to SMEs?
