Oulu - Transportation

The video tells how transportation developed and modernized in the interwar period in Oulu.

The video is a result of a European project called UrbanSpaces, which focuses on the history of the Interwar period in the participating twin towns. The towns examined are Bracknell, Leverkusen, Ljubljana, Jülich, Oulu, Schwedt, Raciborz and Villeneuve-d'Ascq. The project's main goal was to explore the history of the Interwar period in all towns and to present the results in a 2-3 minute video that would be interesting to both younger and older learners. All of the videos are part of our film kit, which gives educators the tools to include said videos in their lessons, and they can adapt the videos based on their needs, ideas, and wishes. We hope you enjoy these videos as much as we enjoyed making them. Let us learn and educate in a fun manner through different languages, cultures, and history.
