    Why king cobra weave, is it stronger than normal cobra weave?

    • @ParacordPlanet
      @ParacordPlanet  5 лет назад +2

      It becomes a little stronger, but it mostly makes the collar wider, so it doesn't dig into the dogs neck quite as much.

    It's that 28ft of paracord in total? Or of each colour? You don't state it...

    • @ParacordPlanet
      @ParacordPlanet  3 года назад +1

      Yes, total. Just make sure you have at least 2 ft of cord for each inch of the collar size.

      @@ParacordPlanet I was wondering the same thing. Thank you for the info. I also want to make the collar in your shop that has the witches colors. The kit was out of stock when I ordered so I just ordered each color listed and I have hardware also. I was wondering what is the pattern/instructions for that collar?

    No. 1 - Paracord never melt together in dog collars. Do the Manny method.
    No. 2 - Never a plastic buckle for dogs. Always use a metal buckle.
    No. 3 - Wrong technique on the closure. Find out how to do it right.
    No. 4 - The D-ring is never worked in this way. I recommend an O-ring, which will be incorporated into the closure technique right from the start.

      Thanks for the feedback! We realize this tutorial is not ideal for every size dog. We do reference the Manny method in this video. YKK makes some very strong plastic buckles that are more secure than many metal buckles of the same size. Yes, for a large dog, other closure methods can be more secure. To everyone else, Jean-Pierre has many amazing dog collar tutorials on his website blog.swiss-paracord.ch/ Definitely go check it out!

      @@ParacordPlanet Hey PP, classy answer for JP. Thank your for your video. I have never had an issue with plastic buckles and they are so much lighter, My 2 German Shepards appreciate this.
