  • Investigations into Evergreen Police's behavior during the protests find no wrongdoing... but the Police are still asked to apologize to the protestors. This video is not purposed to harass or give ammo to those who would harass. The change I seek comes about through dialogue, not hate.

Anyone can be wrong. Try to see it from his perspective. In his mind, he is standing up for the underdog against a monolithic Goliath, which takes integrity and courage. Hopefully, some day soon, he'll grasp how misguided this movement is/was. We don't have to answer misunderstanidng with hate, while imagining we're promoting peace; that's hardly any different from what he is doing.

Bullshit. Total, utter bullshit. Just the actions of a narcissistic cry-bully who's enjoying the power and attention. He needs to be slapped hard by reality and made responsible for his actions, as an example for others, since he's probably a lost cause himself.

People should not threaten people with a weapon and not expect the person they threaten to just stand there and let me do what they want . Can not see that lot lasting long in an actual encounter , can you ?? They are purely relying on intimidation thinking and hoping that no one will take them on with their bats , but that will not work one day and they will be in a world of pain when it fails

I think when people talk about their "lived experience" it's valid to validate it. Doesn't mean people have to immediately believe it if they don't want to; however. I have been finding that when some "white" people talk about their lived experiences with regard to racism it is usually not validated... because of the idea of "prejudice + power" that the definition has been changed to. If the majority are "white" then why does a non-white person have to participate in that identity? Well, they don't.
Identity is a multifaceted concept that overlaps based on the society one lives within, imo.

I remember a comment Jordan Peterson made about identity politics and the importance of individuality. There's a danger if you surrender your individuality to group identity or a "collective consciousness". He said "if the group goes mad, so do you!!" Seeing that flock of cheering students is a textbook example of that in real time.

These kids are spoiled brats who have become too used to getting everything they demand. How is this going to help them after they leave the college and have to deal with the real world? They need to learn that playing the victim, while at the same time being the bully isn't going to work.

Because most of their professors are in a state of arrested development themselves. Their entire lives have been immersed in this Marxist indoctrination. They never entered the real world. So they have no idea how to prepare their students for the real world. They think everyone outside of a campus is a dangerous nazi. In short; they're mentally ill.

Once you're pushed back one place you should have hold firm, you may back down on others. Conversely, if you develop a spine in one area you may develop it in others. Its just a matter of starting.
I'm not only talking about faculty. If something like this happened at my workplace, with progressives holding the business hostage in order to implement progressive change, I would not expect individuals in management to put a stop to it - I would expect myself and other employees to put a stop to it. I would hope that if an Evergreen scenario happened at another school and the administration did nothing, that individual students have the courage to do something about it. Benjamin has done something valuable in his documentation and analysis.

"How is this going to help them after they leave the college and have to deal with the real world?"
      Leave the college?
My dear sir, chief among the demands that these passels of screechers make is ALWAYS more programs, more jobs, more funding inside the academic institution that they profess to hate. Their intention is to avoid the real world for the rest of their lives. They are testing boundaries to see what works. And judging from cities like Baltimore and Detroit, those in power are willing to give them Space To Destroy to keep the Bloomberg (etc.) cash flowing. For them "the real world" is a selfie.

I suppose a lot of people would call it “internalized homophobia” and then try to turn around and blame that on masculine gay men and heterosexual culture also. It’s all just a way to blame others for their own hypocrisy

Gender Dysphoria/Gender Identity Disorder IS a psychological condition. One that manifests in huge mental incongruities and even delusions (when your feelings don't accurately map the external world.). So it's no wonder this "they" is bumping into themselves and their emotions both coming and going.
The problem is given crystal clarity in the fact they's having their delusional state validated at ever turn by Evergreen's administration, but then they go online and complain they's feeling invalidated.

The reason losers like jamil find "value" in selfies is because they know they're worthless losers who project a totally false sense of who they really are to those around them but think rather paradoxically that if they document every trivial mundane event of their otherwise uninteresting unimportant existences then people will "like them more" rather than seeing the reality which is: those people who they try to fool just laugh at them and see them as the insecure insincere losers they really are.

And if you really want love, then focus on loving _other_ people. You don't engender love by demanding it. The love we receive is a reflection of the love we give.

If students aren't able to handle their. anxiety, send them to a mental health professional until they can abide by the rules. This is frightening.
