Best ride ever. Thank you for posting. It helped me relive a wonderful vacation with my husband & sons when they were young. They are now grown men with families of their own.
I'm in Australia and I've done this trip five times. Three N-S and two the other way. For those who haven't done it, I'd suggest North to South if possible as you can pull over without crossing traffic. Trust me, you will be pulling over a lot!
Getting quite addicted to your videos. Compared to other suppliers of this kind of videos, you keep the experiense of the trip in focus. Thank you so very much
I always liked Highway No. 1, especially the part of the Central Coastline. It was my dream since my childhood. Thank you for this beautiful youtube and the memories, enjoyed it very much 😀.
I don't know if it is the most scenic drive in the US (there are plenty of interesting roads out there), but it is definetely one of them and should be in every roadtrip plan through California. Hope to do it also in the near future.
Suggestions, drive north to south so you're closer to the water and we see scenery, not road, and turn your dash cam to the scenery so the drive really is scenic.
I'm about half way through and flabbergasted at lack of traffic, too good to be true? This would be a dream road trip if I could time the drive traffic-wise to what's shown here. Is this the norm for this part of the road or maybe the day, date, time of day, etc.? When I think of California first thing that comes to mind is humongous amounts of people and traffic all along the Ca. coast, so even though this area of road may be sparsely populated I would still assume that traffic would be relatively heavy. TIA
I don't like the front windshield view. All we see is the road and the hills on the right side. You should do the video running North to South so the ocean scenery is on your right and turn the camera at a right angle to capture the ocean view. I really don't need to stare at a road for an hour.
This is a beautiful video but your driving merits criticism. Most accidents on CA 1 are caused by people failing to maintain their lane and then having a "surprise" with someone coming around the bend. You need to do a better job with this or you might be next.

I absolutely love & am enjoying your videos. They're a nice escape for those who can't get out & travel.
Must be early in year before rain, after you have White , Yellow and purple colors on the edge off these Canyons. Really stunning.🦅💕🇺🇲🌅🇩🇰⛱️📬

Nice video! I didn't remember the road being so skinny!
Great video. the first time I rode this stretch of Hwy 1 ... it was northbound and we were in fog for about 5 hours of it ... much of it at night!

I thought part of this road was washed out last month.
It was
Do you think it is worth the drive with baby, 4yo and 7yo LA to Big Sur or better to fly and just spend exploring big sur hikes?

It seems there was a serious problem with it yesterday, due to heavy rain...
Yes the whole road bed collapsed. Will be out of commission for months.

Safe driving can only be provided by a technically correct vehicle driven by a rested driver!

Most scenic drive in US? You need to do more traveling. Thats not even top 50.
