For anyone curious, an NDA means literally nothing if there's illegal stuff going on. If Paul were to sue the zoo or just plainly contact the police and inform them of what's going on any NDA would be thrown in the trash. You can't just make someone sign a piece of paper and then expect it to be legal to kill people or put them in insane risk. Same thing goes for any sort of waivers
Unfortunately, I think it's happened before where NDA's and similar have been waved at someone to get them to keep their mouth shut and it working due to the poor fool not knowing that such documents do not apply when used to protect criminal activity.
If you actually played the game yourself you would know the doc states during multiple endings and a few play threws he has many “friends” around the world and in the government/policeforce. Hence when lily calls the police nothing happens.
I worked at a zoo once, so when Paul gave the block of animal-grade meat to his wife, I thought that was prolly the scariest bit of the game lawl. I watched the zookeepers butcher meat for the predators and sometimes the sources are roadkill, or from stables. Like old racing horses are sometimes used, but the zookeepers didn’t like them as they usually have had a ton of meds and steroids for racing and it’s bad for the zoo animals to eat their meat. Same problem would be for humans. The alternate is specially formulated protein logs some zoos have for specialised predators, which also aren’t suitable for humans.

The zoo having scientists is not weird Whats weird is that they are referring to them as generic scientists instead of vet techs or dietitians or something similar
The part of the hopeful monsters doesn't sit right with me. How does a mutated animal produce offspring, when its general habit is to literally kill the rest of their species?
It's not crazy to think genetic difference makes a pheromone difference, after all humans are attracted to pheromones of other humans who specifically compliment their own immune system. Thats a very small genetic difference that changes pheromones, pheromones could Cause them to have very different feelings toward normal and mutated animals.
More than likely they were tranq'ing them and extracting DNA from the mutated hosts. It seems unlikely they were intending for the mutant animal to mate in any capacity, whether it was with normal or other mutated animals.
I like the fact u used an Egyptian photo for talking about the possibility of gods being involved. Anyone who’s read KC (Kane Chronicles) knows gods tend to take hosts. Which could explain things
Hey y’all sorry for the long paragraph I needed to say this somewhere. The whole “congruent chemistry”thing does not sit right with me at all as a proper explanation. Congruent chemistry is talking about phase changes. Water can go from a solid to a liquid to a gas without changing its molecular structure. It is incredibly hard for organic molecules to do this. It is even harder for living cells to do this. I feel like the whole explanation for the mother being older could have been easily explained by her appearing in multiple parts of the ice. Her regrowth of limbs can also just be because of axolotl genes or genes from another limb regenerating animal. Overall cool game idea though. Edit: after watching more there is a much easier way to infect someone with a liquid. It’s just typical liquid cell culturing. If the mother is a hive mind then she can produce an infector out of any of her cells. This means once the cells have space they can use their environment to make a new parasite. Again, there is no need for the congruent chemistry bit. And one more bit about the animals reverting. If it goes by the rules of the game then it would be impossible. Genetic editing is impossible to really change after it’s done. (See HIV nuclear radiation etc.) However, if the parasite is instead just inserting its DNA to be amplified then it is more plausible for the creature to revert back to its original state. (The actual likelihood of reverting is much more fantasy than I would like to ruin lol)
I'm still wondering why Oliver injected Paul a parasite, even though he's going to use Paul as food for the mother. Even though we know what a mutated human looks like in the game.
I think I know why it’s because he already knew the infected animals wouldn’t attacked another infected host so he injected him with the parasite so he wouldn’t be killed by the infected animals and if he was killed by the infected animals, mother wouldn’t like it because it says mother only eats what she kills 🎉

Zoologia is just study of animals, usually in their natural habitat. You can't learn much about animals if they are caged.
Especially if the zoo is also part of conservation efforts, why monitoring the health of endangered species they have at the zoo is key.

He may have wanted a second human experiment. It doesn’t make any sense though. He could have used Sarah or CJ as a Guinea pig instead of killing them
