Always preferred Lionel Richie when he was funky😊Commodores were on the One. I like Fancy Dancer’s groove better than Brick House. You broke out the Carvin SB4001 ! Very cool, pretty basses that should have never been discontinued.
Thanks my friend for this video. I was learning the bass back when this song came out so I REALLY couldn't play it back then, but fast forward to today and I'm gonna rock it now. One thing that catches my passion is how sometimes the bass player would PLUCK the third and fourth notes!
I would love to see you brake down the bass line to ( you talk a good talk) by the group from back in the day called men’s theory. I love what you do .keep FUNK alive.
Some future bass lesson suggestions: - the coolest song by the Commodores; "Machine Gun"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the Dells', "There Is". The rhythm section is "killer" but the mono recording is tough to really ascertain the bass line clearly. Still sounds great. Can't find a bass tab for it, anywhere.
My all time favorite by the Commodores.
Love the 70s funk music
Straight Funk and a Classic Commodores groove! Thanks @DeLucaBass 👏🏾👏🏾
Nice I likes this a lot too. Thanks for bring back this classic...
