This was one of the weirdest matches I've seen and it was amazing. Never before have i seen a tower beleveled up to 4, let alone max level. Even level 3 is a rarity. Good job! You fought well and I'm glad you get to fight another day
Thanks Oleg - appreciate the support. This was quite a surreal game to play at the back end of a tourney, really enjoyed the game tho. Big shoutout to Momaro for making it fun and memorable!
Thanks, he's doing what he can! This ended up being a light touch edit. Have been working on speeding up the process to find a better balance and help me chew through the back log! Sorry there's some keyboard noise in the background. It bugs me but it's too time intensive to fix by hand for each video unless it's something special. Trying out NVIDIA Voice which has helped cut it down a fair amount but also creates it's own occasional audio glitches.
@@Drone_101 i barely even noticed the keyboard noices tbh. for me it doesn't really take any away from the video if it's so low that you dont notice it. if this ends up becomming full time career then put work into it but your videos are so high quality already and cant get enough.
@@Drone_101 eh, I barely even noticed those. I was just pointing out how there lately are more sound effects and the like in there. I do not mind, I enjoy your content

Such a odd game. Ever turn was left, level 5 towers are insane and absolutely not worth cost in any other. Summoning is weird in this game. I don't know if the exp summoned units game are lost or transferred and it makes me shy away. 6k combat power!! Insane! It was a long game with a lot of high value kills. Edits on point as always, Editor DRN is going need to break after this long tournament! Wishing you rhe best of luck and all the Sledgehammers!
Thanks man! Yeah, will admit I kinda needed a game like this after lots of Standard vs Standard mirrors it was a fun change for sure. Summoned units exp gained is lost after the round ends, but they can still be very useful and strong. There's more to the game than just levelling everything up :D Something I need to remind myself from time to time!
Yeah, what a wacky matchup. Would there have been value to like, dropping stormcallers in the way back of your left-side tower, or would they roll ahead of it by the time they engaged? And a question on the steel balls damage ramping: is it that they just continue to ramp endlessly (no hard limit to damage) and so would be dealing absurd damage amounts without the debuff, or was it that they were dealing max damage by the time the debuff dropped?
Hey Werdna, yeah was a fun game! I wasn't a fan of back line Storms because they shoot so slowly the tower would be done and gone before they get two volleys off, and I was mostly needing answers to Phoenixes here. Stormcallers struggle vs fast movers and aggro in general I find. Steelballs damage ramp does have a hard cap - but the cap scales with their level and it's still north of 3k damage per 0.1 sec even on level 1 balls, so you're looking at 30k damage a second if they're allowed to ramp even at level 1. When debuffed their damage cap is reduced but as soon as the debuff wears off they spike back up to their normal damage, without needing to re-ramp, if that makes sense? Hope I've explained it correctly!
@@Drone_101 I was thinking of it as just free damage while they attack the tower rather than trying to save it, but I guess just a volley or three wouldn't be too worth it after all. And even then, probably better to put them in the back near your main force anyway Yep, that explanation makes total sense, thanks!

Bonkers that’s what that was
"Some people think I'm bonkers
But I just think I'm free
Man, I'm just living my life
There's nothing crazy about me!" Haha it was a crazy game

good game, well played. I will say that farseers with no upgrades do make me sad....:)
Yeah, range or EMP is so good on them but we had other priorities here - needed the AA MM and the Steelballs were our winning ticket to most rounds!

DRN's units shooting at that tower on round 6:

We'll get there in the end! Just need more power!
