Great video and I am liking the simple message - Respect Protect Enjoy. Would have been good to see a sea kayak somewhere?

I'm pritty nee to this. I've started paddleboarding along the Midlands canals. I enjoy the peace it brings along with the added excersize. One issue I've started to notice, which is potentially dangerous, is canal boats not seeing you. Mainly on a bend. I have considered maybe carrying a air horn but I would worry this may disturb wildlife. Do you have any advice ?

I’d say keep in the middle so canal boats can see you but then move to the side (right) to let them pass. Air horn is gonna make you very unpopular with other users, maybe as an absolute last resort.
My personal experience with canal boats has always been very positive. But you do just need to keep aware.
