I had a B200 error on my Canon Pixma MG5350. After trying suggested fixes it changed to a UO52 error. I washed and dried the print head as recommended in other videos, reinstalled it with ink cartridges. The UO52 error still persists. Canon offered me a 20% discount to buy another of their printers. This particular one is out of production and there are no spares. I have lots of unusable replacement ink cartridges. I won't be buying another Canon printer. Thanks for showing your attempt to fix the error.
The same error appeared on my Canon MP640. Yet I didn't trust Canon enough to buy another printing head… It 's typically a trick of "programmed obsolescence" (read "swindle"). Canon support service is just as inefficient in Paris as in Spain or (I guess) anywhere in the world. This is what they call "management". Bon courage, amigo !
I had the same problem,I took the cartridges out and also the printhead.I cleansed the printhead with a fibercloth with alcohol, put it back with the cartridges, problem solved !...sorry i tell you 2 years later, probably you have a new one now...but i hope i can help others with this comment,God Bless !
I tried to clean my print head. I used water and surgical spirit. I dried it thoroughly with kitchen towel and left it in the airing cupboard to dry. It still doesn't work.
all Canon printers in that series - MG5150, 5250 and 5350 have a counter built in that makes them FAIL after a certain time - all with either B200 or U052 errors there's nothing actually wrong with the printer, it's just Canon's way of saying "Fuck you" to their customers
this really sucks, Im have the same problem with my MG8150 Canon printer. it's 10 years old, so I think I even try to fix it. I'm gonna buy a new one. Which will not be a Canon by the way.
Mine 5250 as well. I've tried everything( unless a new printhead) but nothing helps. I think they are right, this is an programmed error from Canon. Lol.

How many % did your alcohol had? Actually i'm trying out with 40% - hope this is enough.
ed hage - maybe you should do some RUclips videos to help us :) - your comments are still valid - now 2yrs & 10 months later
I still need help...

there's nothing actually wrong with the printer, it's just Canon's way of saying "Fuck you" to their customers
and in addition, canon encourages to buy a print head at 70 € for nothing
Have the same error here, any solution ? Buying another head is no-go, since a MG5750 printer is cheaper than a MG5350's head...
I belive Canon is doing this on purpose...
they are - it's a counter in the firmware - there's no physical problem with the printer
thats exactly what i thought
