Am following you through your planning steps. Give my respect to Mr. Gupta who mixed Yong and Experienced. I left my prime long long time ago but Biking was my best hobby in my Bullet 350 only eligible thing then. Ha Ha never seen so many Gadgets and fittings in my life and they were in Future then, i.e 70s and end of 90s. God Speed for you and Sir Mr.Gupta. Jai Shri Ram. This ride could have been done more cheaper than this by following steps 1. Buy a second hand pretty much low mile bike from UK and doing the route(ktm 390 5000 miles 1 st owner sells for about 4000£ and selling it at the end of ride for 2500£. Would have saved a lot by doing that but a little bit different way. None the less, appreciating your efforts that you have put in this thing.
No it's more expensive.. You are not paying just for the bike, there are a lot of hurdles to register the bike as a non resident(tourist) in UK especially for Indians and other asian country citizen. the bike insurance cost will be astronomical if you don't have a Uk postal code, Uk driving licence, etc. The other option is to borrow bike from someone in UK with proper legal documents and proof that you are borrowing it and will return after intended use and pay proper compensations etc. And long term rental is out of question financially :). most of the time the final expenses will more or less the same as shipping the bike. and many riders want to tour internationally on their own bike. There's some unexplainable satisfaction in it :)
@@Hkmmotologs I think registration charges are around 70 bucks or so. If what you are saying is even remotely true, let’s take ball park figure 500 for registration. So at the end of the trip total cost would be 2000 only, Amit that cheap??

Tripura ka ek bhai travel kar rahe hain, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia channel ka naam hain counting miles. Wahan Maine dekha woh Vietnam me byke purchase kar ke travel kar raha hain.
Ja sakte hain, sirf ek route hai and that is by China. China visa, stay, permits and other formalities cost around 8-9 Lakh rupees. This is the reason many travellers avoid going through China. Other route is through Pakistan. Indian Passport holders are not allowed to enter Pakistan and vice versa 😊
