    Thank you, I have been thinking about this topic and started putting water away in clean glass jars. This would be a nice upgrade. I just grabbed four.

    Do you add anything to your long term water stores?

      Nope, just a cool place to store them. I did a water test video of water stored for three years with nothing in it and it was safe. I am going to do one soon with the same container, now 10+ years later. If it is a clean container and the water is from bottles or purified, I find there is zero reason to add anything to it. Now if you store it in a shed or outdoors in the heat. Yea, you might want to. But just like in a basement for emergency storage, nope.
